Didn't eat in this time.Sat on benches outside which was fine as it was nice day...Unfortunately, the fish was poor, and the batter was very greasy...chips were ok.We've always had really tasty fish and chips here in the past but feel that it wasn't up to the standards that we have had in the past...considering the cost of fish and chips now it was not value for money.2 x fish and 1 x portion of chips and a can of Dr Pepper's £13 odd...

The best Fish and Chip shop around! Always fresh and tasty. The gluten free option is amazing as it allows my mum to get a treat too. Plus the gluten free batter is to die for! Friendly staff and very prompt service. 5 🌟 from me ❤

Lots of parking. Very clean and tidy. Great menu. Friendly staff. Food was wonderful. Cooked fresh and was very tasty. I had the pensioners special. Choice of starter or you can swap the starter for a side with your main meal. I swapped to mushy peas. You also get bread and butter and a hot drink or a glass of squash. For dessert you can have ice cream or dessert of the day. I had rice pudding. My son had the giant fish which hung off the plate and must be from the whale in the name. He ate the fish but couldn't manage all his chips. He had a hot chocolate and banana sundae for dessert which he declared yummy. Highly recommend this place or should that be plaice.

Outstanding Fish and ChipsWe had lunch at the Wakefield restaurant yesterday and had an amazing time. The service was so friendly, welcoming and efficient.The fish and chips were incredible - by far the best we've ever had. Perfectly cooked fish in the most amazing crispy batter, which was light and really tasty. Great chips and sides.Thanks to Jane and the team for a memorable lunch. 5 stars!

Never had such delicious fish and chips in all my 71 years. The service was excellent. The seniors menu was excellent value for money. I have been there before but this time everything seemed much better. We will be back soon.

Excellent restaurant.. great service by staff and it's good value for money. Fish and chips come with bread/butter and tea or coffee. Good portion too
