Zaika's in Wakefield

Orders food from here chicken was old was rock solid and I've worked in the fast food industry and this was last week's chicken. Called takeaway up and the just was not interested and now I've got a upset stomach never again will I be ordering from here. Avoid at all costs

Not happy with the service. When I ordered for food they gave me the wrong item. After I reached home (travelled for 3.5 miles) I realised its wrong item, when I called them to inform them and replace the food, they are not ready to deliver it and the way they treating the customer is very arrogant and disrespectful and not at all acceptable. I would give 0 rating but I don't have that option.

Great service, food always delicious and hot, very quick friendly drivers, and good value for money. Choice of takeaway meals excellent, can recommend their curries they are devine and the pizza's are cooked in a proper pizza oven.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Me and my boyfriend ordered two curries and a starter from this takeaway last night (which wasn’t cheap). It arrived and immediately we noticed both curries were extremely watery. I ordered the chicken bhuna and the chicken was extremely tough and chewy as well as some pieces being pink in the middle, it’s fair to say I couldn’t eat anymore. An hour later I become extremely ill and couldn’t stop throwing up, obviously I had food poisoning from this takeaway! Still being poorly today we rang the restaurant to make them aware that their food caused someone to contract food poisoning however they didn’t want to hear about it and basically called my boyfriend a liar. Avoid at all costs!

First time we tried it absolutely Delicious will definitely order again and recommend to family and friends just wish they put some menu's in bag so I could have passed them on.

Dont usually leave bad reviews but after trying to resolve the situation with the takeaway they've left me with no choice but to leave a review. So I ordered a large mixed karahi with chapattis, totalling £11.80. The large curry cost £9.50 and the only thing large about it was the onions and peppers they added to it. There was little to no meat in there. Just stuffed with big chunks of veg. Called the takeaway to see why this was the case, high price but poor amount and quality of food. Staff member spoke very rudely to me and said this is how it comes and if I dont like it then I should go elsewhere. No apologies or any attempt to correct the order. Wouldnt reccomend to anyone. Worst curry house out there

Normally order from zaikas every single week without fail and usually have a good experience, but now I will not be ordering from there again.My order was over an hour late and I live literally half a mile away, so I took it upon myself to drive there in the car to see what was going on having paid on justeat and trying to call zaikas but the phone totally off the hook.I met with 4 members of staff, one of which spoke to me, rudely, throughout. They gave me my order straight away, which was already made when I walked in and said there you go and turned his back on me. I asked him, ignoring his rudeness, to give me the £2 delivery fee which I had paid and was told not a chance, I even stated that it was pathetic and unprofessional to speak to, and deal with a customer in that way. Yes its only £2, but its my money, wasted, on a firm that don't give a toss.I also observed no social distancing and no wearing of facemasks by any staff present during the covid-19 pandemic in this takeaway.AVOID

So I went to zaikas this afternoon to purchase a little snack for myself and friend we purchased some food wow the customer service was shocking the guy answered the phone and said ZAIKAS WAT YOU WANT YEH YEH OK then they charged me extra for the most cheapest snack on the menu avoid this place and then staff they drop your food on the floor and place them in your food box ready to be delivered to your door.

These guys are dangerous! Hands down amazing curries. Even my wife, who doesn't like spicy food orders curries from these guys! Please don't stop make epic curries. I'm your new biggest fan.

Best take away curry around. Myself and my partner love a good curry but they all taste the same more about good packaging than the food. This is real old school curry. Delivery guys are always really pleasant and friendly.
