All Bar One York in York

Visited briefly a few weeks ago but only just remembered to pop a review on. Very friendly team, new(?) manager polite and welcoming compared to the person last time we visited. Only stopped for a drink whilst shopping but service was fast and drinks worth the money. Probably will stop for food next time we are up this way as something from the kitchen smelled good!

Boy oh boy, I was glad to get out of here. What an absolute racket and cacophony of shouting, screaming and shrieking. Incredibly busy. Advise to book a table if you wish to eat. Also advise you do not go on a Saturday as it's full of sashed up birthday gals n sashed up hens, oh my, can they scream. Everyone shouts here, really hurt my ears. Staff were polite and friendly though and food was good. Hot chocolate came with a schooner of Smarties, unusual but welcome. I tried the Nourish Bowl which was really tasty. But as for dessert, tempting though they sounded, I just couldn't subject my ears to any more of the relentless banshee screams. Why do they all yell their heads off?! Awful. Card payments only. I would recommend the food.

We visited for my hen do last weekend and booked the cocktail making class. It was the highlight of the whole weekend, so fun! The staff were great, especially Jack who taught our class. One of my bridesmaids is pregnant and he found her alternatives for everything. I would definitely recommend for hen dos. Thanks Jack!

Nice warm atmosphere. The food was excellent. 👌 😋 My husband had the burger & fries and I had cheese& ham toasties with fries ,very generous helpings. Customer Service spot on guy's, thankyou for a very enjoyable lunch. Definitely be back when next in York.

Friend and I had the favourites board, more then enough for two people, noticed cocktails on offer so just had to be done. Great food, Good cocktails friendly service. Will be going back as they have a tapas Tuesday deal.

I love coming back here. Very friendly staff and great food. Also You don’t have to wait too long for your orders. If You’re looking for a nice place You should visit this one.

Originally went just for some cocktails but ended up having food there as well. Both didn’t disappoint! Couldn’t fault anything, from the staff to food and drinks, everything was great. Definitely going to return soon!

I’ve never seen such a lovely place before! Absolutely amazing service. Always cheerful and ready to help. Also best cocktails I’ve ever tried. I’d be happy to visit this place more often.

Nice environment for a few drinks and food. The Katsu chicken was tasty and just spicy enough. Meat free burger was very good according to my better half. Good choice of beer and it was fab to see Camden Hell's on tap. Will visit again next time I'm in York.A special mention to the girl serving us (Lucinda). Hard working and bubbly. A credit to herself.

Manager more than accommodating, food was superb. We had the club sandwich and chicken quesidelia 100% recommended to anyone who is looking for somewhere to go in York.
