I am from Lebanon and the food quality and taste is not anything close to Lebanese food. I had the worst Falafel, Hummus & Motabal. These 3 dishes are main in the Lebanese cuisine and easy to make. Sorry but you should not call it a Lebanese restaurant.

I'm a York local. I like to think I've tried a fair few spots so when I say this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in the city, please understand that isn't hyperbole. Our chairs were pulled out for us to sit down, and the server came and took our orders quickly - he made sure to come and check on us often and offered to refill our sauces, and was just generally charming. I can honestly say I've never received nicer service at a restaurant. The food was incredible, and I really recommend the meats so you can experience the wonderful flavours. (And if you can't eat it all, they'll wrap it up for you, too!) A few reviews on Google complain about either the takeaway, or the price, but for a sit-in meal within the York walls - you'll soon find these prices were normal for York, and fine. The portions were big, and we felt full when we'd finished. The atmosphere is also incredible. Authentic music is playing so you never felt awkward and the seating was very comfortable.I very much enjoyed myself and I can't recommend it enough. It truly is a hidden gem in York.

Looking for an early evening meal with our two young children, and no booking, we got an amazingly warm welcome and superb service throughout. Super friendly and helpful. Very nice decor and atmosphere. Stunningly delicious food - I ordered the sea bass and it was perfectly pan fried, with beautifully cooked onion, tomatoes and peppers, and perfectly cooked rice, with a gorgeous slightly sweet lemon dressing on the salad - sublime. I also tried my little one’s pizza with chicken and that was also amazing. Wish I could eat here every day tbh :)

Had family visiting and because of train delays they arrived quite late. As a result, we struggled to find a place that was still serving non night out foods (Kebabs, Fast-food, etc.) We walked by this place as they were closing and they were kind enough to take us in for dinner, we all had pizza (margaritas and pepperoni) which were very good, made on the spot with what looked like fresh dough and everything. Would like to visit at a normal time to get an idea of this place’s full potential.

A great little restaurant. The restaurant was a bit warm, but the food was great, and the service impressive. Servings were generous, but not to distract from the food quality. Along with this, the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

The food is always fantastic and the service is pleasant. A good authentic taste with a great mix of more traditionally British options such as steak or pizzas . A definite recommendation.

£13.50 for this Mixed Grill!!!! Unreal...the restaurant confirmed this is correct and stated the number of cubes that should be in the box. How is that even classed as a cube? The worst rip off ever. Embarrassing for anyone to put their name to make this. Robbery.

Well last night we got a take away wasn’t going to post this but since the restaurant manager couldn’t b bothered to ring me back here goes. I rang to complain at 730pm got told she would call back within the hour yes I understand they may b busy but it’s 4pm the next day and still nothing.******DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON TAKE OUTS. *******we paid 13.50 for a mixed grill well what I mean is a kids portion of meat rock hard chips n soggy salad 11.95 for a shish tawook again kids portion handful of rice and soggy salad. Extra chips £3 rock hard 2 portions of garlic bread sorry I mean a cut in half pitta bread that was as tough as my dog walking wellies. tagine lamb basically few bits of lamb thrown into some vegetable soup. I’m so disgusted that they think serving that for the price we paid I mean the portion for £13.50 come on i want an adult portion not something a 4 year old would eat then ask for more cos hes still hungry. SHOCKING nice young polite man on the phone though so that’s a plus at least lol
