Atithi Contemporary Indian Restaurant in York

Lovely host/owner. Fab freshly cooked good. Delightful

Nice food. They advertised a particular meal deal which had no bread option. Indian food/ meal deal is incomplete without breads. Maitre d failed to explain that !!!

Excellent meal. Great service with a smile. Will return. X

Fantastic, authentic, relaxing. If you seek for a place to enjoy the food, service, interior and music.. this is THE place. New variations in the menu, super tasty, fresh and well prepared:- chicken starter was fantastic- chicken main with tomato sauce, rice and bread - everything was delicious- desert in a real coconut was perfect endKudos to the owner and the whole team! Recommend!

3 nights in York, this is close to our hotel so as we both love Indian food this was first night. We were the first customers in that evening. We both had starters and a main that were all er . . . demolished. There was nothing left ! I appreciate that if you have your favorite Indian meal at one restaurant it will be different at the next, or even if you make it from scratch at home. So expect different.Service was good, staff friendly and attentive. The surroundings were good and comfy. What we didn't like:They have glass top tables and there was a lot of food debris under the glass top around the whole perimeter. Daily lifting and cleaning required there. That aside - give them a visit

Authentic Indian food, perfect blend of spices and culture

One of the most amazing meals I have had in a long time. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious and tastes beautifully fresh, thank you for a lovely meal we will definitely be back again soon!

Went to this restaurant this evening, it has to be one of the best Indian meals I have had in a very long time it was absolutely delicious 😋The service you get in there is outstanding, wish I lived nearer would be in there all the time.

A great experience. Delicious food and good service. Ate on my own and felt relaxed and comfortable there.

The Ambience is good, it’s a good lit place. Service is little slow. I would rate food as 3 there was something missing in all the dishes. Main dishes were generous portions. Didn’t have options for whiskey to offer.
