Bella Italia in York

Very nice meal, clean restaurant. Jack our waiter was covering for a staff member down and front of house. He was excellent and still had time to speak to all the customers. Top marks 👌

Would recommend booking a table, got seated quite quickly and ordered up some wine, quite reasonably priced. Food was of good quality and plenty of it. Our service was spot on although a few people who arrived later had to wait a while to get served etc, short staffed in kitchen causing the problem. All in all we enjoyed the food and drink and would say worth a visit.

Came for a birthday meal with my wife and was not disappointed. Great food, great service (even when they sang happy birthday to me!) and Jess, our waitress, was outstanding, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. She's a credit to the restaurant.

An overall superb experience right from the moment we walked in. The service was prompt and extremely friendly/funny. Food was great! We we're catered for very well seeing as we had to eat gluten free food. The value for money is good as well for the amazing quality you receive.

Awesome gluten free menu and serviceSeated us quickly and immediately asked if we had any allergies or sensitivities, which was great as I'm gluten intolerant. They explained items on the menu are marked with gluten free options. I chose pollo funghi AND mozzarella flatbread which was delicious. Best gluten free pasta I've had. Lovely service. Can't wait to tell more people about it.

Visited York for the weekend for a girls holiday. What a beautiful city with so much history 100%recomend at least one trip to York in your lifetime.Bella italiawe pre booked to avoid disappointment, lovely restaurant not overpriced, they had a great offer on 3 courses for around £16.99. There was 6 of us and everyone's food was fab and finished to a high standard. The restaurant itself was decorated to make it feel as though you were on the streets of Italy. I asked if we could sing happy birthday to my friend and the staff bought her dessert out with candles and all sang along with us, great atmosphere. Liv was a great waitress very friendly and accommodating, a great end to a lovely weekend

I was there with my daughter, we were served by a very nice gentleman named Danis. A really wonderful place, fantastic and friendly service and delicious food I recommend this place to everyone.
