But First in York

No Google, I didn't visit this place yesterday although I did sit on a bench opposite for about ten minutes. I have, however, once bought coffee from this place and I'd say the coffee at the nearby, far more scenic Bishopthorpe Marine cabin is far superior.

Its has to be the best cafe in Bishopthorpe and surrounding area (excluding maybe Pig & Pastry on Bishy Rd but its a very close 2nd). The food is always freshly prepared, the menu is exciting and revamped with some amazing ingredient combinations. You can get a scone, tea cake or cuppa if you wish, but I'd recommend looking at the specials board and the cakes! And the best bit, its not at all expensive for the quality of food. Maybe £6-8 for a decent lunch portion. A well known cafe in Naburn, take note!

Great place for a coffee, cake, or breakfast. Friendly staff and good quality food. You may find cheaper, but you won't find better!

Brilliant place to stop off whilst walking through Bishopthorpe. Staff always make you feel really welcome a great sun trap garden on a sunny morning.

Great coffee, quick service even though they were busy. Water bowl available for the dog, which was much appreciated. Woof.

We had a lovely breakfast here as part of our holiday and the staff were very nice. The coffees are huge and delicious! The food was amazing and in the words of my fiancée "the BEST BLT he's ever had! thanks again!

Fab little cafe in bishopthorpe. Lovely service and attentive although they were extremely busy at the weekend. They only had a small selection of sandwich choices and specials but the mozzarella and pesto panini and halloumi ciabatta did not disappoint. Will certainly be returning!

My dad and I stopped here during our bike ride. We both had the Coronation chicken sandwich, probably the best I've ever had!! We had a banana milkshake and a caramel latte to drink, both were very good too! Can't wait to return!

Such an amazing little cafe in Bishopthorpe, perfect spot to grab a hot drink and some cake before a walk along the Planet Route .They have gone out of their way to make it covid secure, letting one in at time to order and have some tables and chairs along the patio area nicely spaced out as well.The cakes are delicious, and huge slices! Cant wait to go back again for a chocolate orange hot chocolate!Would highly recommend 😀

This is a hidden gem! Discovered on a dog walk around Bishopthorpe and along the cycle track. There’s seating in the yard outside the shop and it’s great to sit during the summer and soak up the sun! The coffees are great as are the home made cakes! It’s dog friendly and the staff are welcoming! Definitely will return again!
