Caesar's Restaurant in York

Lovely food, I had the calamari and salmon tagliatelle which were brilliant. My partner had the bruschetta and spaghetti bolognaise which he said was also lovely. Brilliant service, they were very quick and attentive.

Looks a little tired from the outside, but inside very bistro like. Pasta and risotto are superb, the service is excellent very attentive without overbearing. I felt the deserts let it down.

I'm usually quote sceptical about Italian restaurants....however this was fantastic and very authentic. I'd say it's a must try. The lobster ravioli was delicious, light and we'll balanced. The pizzas were fabulous, light and flavorful. We also had a aberguine dish to start the was wonderful. Definitely recommend and booking is advisable

They served me the best Spaghetti Carbonara I've ever had. It was really really really good. I'd a 100 percent recommend it to everyone. I can't wait to visit them again.

Went to York Minster with some friends. Had a great time, the building is awesome. We then went for lunch to a little Italian which my our friends had dined at many times. Caesars was a lovely restaurant, the food was delicious, the calzone was the best I have ever had, the bread dough was just so good, I usually have to saw my way through some I have had, but not so with this one, ny knife cut through it like butter, it was so nice. I ate the whole calzone. The staff were good too, very friendly and chatty. The whole visit was so enjoyable, will definitely be going to Caesars Italian Restaurant again.

If you want an authentic Italian look no further. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff who are attentive and make you feel well looked after. The food is fresh and tasty with very generous portion sizes. The meals are well priced as are the range of drinks, facilities on site are easily accessible to. All round very impressed with this restaurant and its hearty atmosphere, will definitely return!

I had an excellent 4-course meal here. Really recommend the food, it was cooked perfectly at each course. The price point I would say is about right too, a bit on the higher side but the quality of food certainly exceeds. Only lost a star as I felt rushed here by the staff which is a shame as everything else here was absolutely perfect.

Fantastic food, good prices, great friendly staff 5☆☆☆☆☆😃

We stumbled across this restaurant after attempting to get a table at ASK Italian, our usual haunt, only to discover they were taking bookings only. What a brilliant find. No fuss, just great, friendly service and really, really good food. The front window looked like it had been vandalised and awaiting repair, which could easily put people off (town louts!) but it shouldn't. We will come back here next time we are in York. Can't recommend the delicious food and great service more highly. Could probably do with a little makeover inside but that didn't matter at all.

Lovely customer service and really fresh food. My mam needs Gluten free and they had many options and even changed some of the none GF to GF... Also halal
