A lovely cafe. Staff were very pleasant and made sure tables were cleared and clean. Only had a drink, very reasonably priced. Meals I saw coming out looked very good.

I. Love. This. Place. The staff is genuinely kind and chatty. There are SO many cute dogs with nice owners that come in and let you let their dogs. And, of course, the food, coffee, and tea and excellent!! I loved that they had loads of vegan options and unique syrups for their coffees. You seriously need to go here. You'll be hooked.

Visited here for lunch on Wednesday and was impressed on the whole.Dog friendly and we chose an ideal seat in the window on a sofa. Very friendly and helpful staff and the food was impressive. I had the 'Superfood Smoothie' with berries, together with a 'vegan sausage, hummus, spinach and tomato sourdough toastie' that arrived with plenty of crisps and a side salad. Decently priced too.The other tables here were definitely not as nice as the one we had in the window, especially those in the back, and so could do with a bit of sprucing up to attract more people in.

I come here a lot and every time the service is so quick, the staff are lovely and the food is always amazing. They have a really good range of autumn/winter drinks at the moment (I had the cinnamon hot choc and highly recommend) with lots of vegan friendly options on both the food and drink menus. Really cute vibes, I will definitely keep coming here, thank you😊

Cosy coffee shop just off the tourist trap of York city centre. Lovely coffee, delicious waffles & bacon for breakfast and a good range of cakes. Friendly, attentive staff!

Lunch out in York. My Sister & I did not want to go to a restaurant, but a cafe where we could sit outside and watch the world go by. This was the one! Lovely staff & wonderful food it tasted amazing. 100% recommend Cosy Time.

Pleasant staff, who’s mistake was forgetting we said stay in, so we got plastic take out cups.£7 for a gorgeous strawberry milkshake and a peach lemonade slushy isn’t exactly cheap but fairly priced.Bathroom was nice and clean and is located right at the back.Plenty of seating behind the bar which you can’t see from outside.

Had a nice coffee and cake here for four. Coffee was really good, but not exceptional, the cakes were lovely, as were the staff, and the decor and atmosphere was indeed cozy. Only minor complaints were that our order came very staggered (my cappuccino arrived five minutes before everyone else's and then our last coffee arrived five minutes after everyone else) and the cakes were a little on the expensive side. However I would definitely still recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a pleasant cuppa in York.
