Dough in York

Buratta pizza galore, seriously good selection of pizzas and cocktails here. Definitely get the Negroni, the process for that was amazing. Our waitress was incredible she really looked after us and made sure we had a fun evening, also gave us a great local recommendation for evening entertainment. Our food came out delish too, I can highly recommend this for neopolitan style fresh pizzas for a very reasonable price point, won't break the bank.

Went to York for a one day stay!I wanted to visit dough eyed pizza as it looks amazing!Boy was I not disappointed at all!Best pizza hands down I have ever had! The crust was just like eating a cloud!Customer service on point too!Even down to some art on my pizza box!!Can’t wait to head back!

Very good. Centrally located overlooking Shambles Market, opposite the Market Cat. Jam and Cameron were lovely - welcoming, friendly, helpful and just great staff. Got a window stool seat, so could people watch and pizza watch at the same time, as the stool seat is right by the pizza making area. Had the Portobello & Truffle pizza, which was made fresh in front of me. Was a good pizza. Drinks on offer include homemade mulled wine and Baileys hot chocolate but because I was driving I just had a good ole Yorkshire Tea. Only has small dining area, not a big restaurant, but the lovely staff are big characters. Thanks for looking after me.

I have a huge problem with this place and it’s that I don’t know if they have mistakes because I’m totally charmed with their vibes and extremely perfect service. Pizzas are obviously amazing 9.9 out of 10 but the people working there, their passion and the way the care about you turns this into a glorious experience. We live in Manchester and once a month we sneak into York for a peaceful walk and a nice Nduja Punk from this Legends!

We stopped by for an impromptu pizza last night and was so impressed by the quality and taste of the pizzas! Can’t believe we hadn’t come sooner!!! We sat at a table outside with our dog and chosen our pizzas from the online menu. It had a simple list of pizzas which suited us to the ground! We wanted something to go with our drinks!!When the pizzas arrived, they were hot and fresh! It has to be one of the best pizzas we’ve had! The base was thin and airy and flavours were delicious!! The portobello and truffle one was amazing!The staff were very friendly and welcoming! It’s a great location to watch the world go by!We will definitely return again with any hesitation! Well done to the team for putting on great food & service!!

Fantastic pizza! The flavour of the dough alone is perfect, with its slight chargrilling to give a real authentic taste. Portions were a really good size too. Service was quick and very polite. Would definitely go back when visiting York again!

Really good pizza. Staff are really friendly and even gave us some recommendations to check out afterwards, which we really appreciated. Will definitely be returning.

This is a young fledgling pizza house, I gave them 5 stars because they are working really hard and will bake you a fabulous tasty pizza. It's not as posh and swanky as the bigger boys on the block but the restaurant is tidy and has its own identity. They are young and enthusiastic team who care about their product and will look after you with a personal touch. They are seriously punching above their weight and producing good food. Only criticism was the choice from the bar. I was able to find something and they did say the bar selections will soon be changing. Be prepared to order your pizza on line from your table. I say give them a go, let's big them up.
