Edinburgh Arms in York

OK. It's a pub. Sells beer. Don't know much else about it. Just a one off visit but won't rush back.

We stopped in past on a visit to York and were pleased thatvwe did so. Staff were friendly and made us welcome from the start. Well maintained pub with a good menu to chose from (burgers were great) and a decent range of beers and other drinks to choose from. There is also a large covered seating area outside with tables. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant pub, good atmosphere, friendly staff.

Just dropped in on the spur of the moment, we had food and a couple of pints, all the bar staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend popping in if you can !!

Stayed here a few weeks back, was visiting for a family members birthday party. Mixed place, the room we stayed in was a twin, the room overall was pleasant, clean and beds were surprisingly comfortable. However learning that some of the others rooms are not to the same standard so make sure you aren't one of the unlucky ones. As far as the pricing goes it's excellent value for money in comparison to other accommodation within the City and don't forget your situated right in the Centre of York.I would advise against drinking in the downstairs Pub, the drink are very poor, larger is horrendous with little choice overall, the TV's have Sport but the picture quality is extremely low.Overall I'd say this place is value for money and if you're on a budget you probably won't find a cheaper place for it's quality. Of course the pub could be better but if you're visiting York you definitely have more luxury options within the town to go visit.

Great rock'n roll themed pub close to the Barbican. Friendly, helpful bar staff, great food, (the burgers were delicious) and well kept beer. Only didn't give 5 stars because Black Sheep was off tap on the evening we went in.

Nice friendly pub. Great beer at a fair price. Would recommend!
