This was hands down the best meal we had in York. Each of the 3 courses were incredible, nicest wine I've had in ages (rioja) and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they are a credit to the establishment.

Booked this steakhouse as I had read the reviews and wow it didn’t disappoint!..really good decor,great atmosphere,staff were amazing!..couldn’t do enough for you!..the starters are fantastic and omg one of the best steaks we’ve ever had!..will definitely book again next time we’re in York!

A little gem of a place.Lovely atmosphere and lovely food too. I had Ribeye cooked medium as recommended and it was a splendid tasty meal with baked spud and salad.Will visit again when I’m in York.

Visited this amazing restaurant on Halloween for our wedding anniversary.The starters were very tasty,I had the steak skewers for main course. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. My wife had chicken skewers, the chicken too was cooked to perfection and was moist. All the food was impeccable and the service was friendly and attentive.First class!

The best steak in York! Despite the restaurant being busy we received excellent service from start to finish. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the starters (the ribs and the garlic mushrooms) were delicious. I will be visiting again soon.

Worst meat restaurant I have ever been. Quality of meat is not on par with average meat restaurants. I asked for the most tender meat, it was not tender at all. Service is run by some students. Veggies were defrosted. Based on reviews, visitors have mid/low standards. Pictures of the food look ok, but taste is not.
