Enjoyed the coffee’s & scones, really friendly service pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced.

A nice building to sit in, that has been very well fit out. Food is not too bad but the service is truly terrible.All the waiters/waitresses are completely disinterested, not once were we asked if everything thing is ok, we had to ask for one of our missing drinks 3 times and sat waiting a long time at the end for someone to clear the table/wait for the bill.A shame, as with a lot of places, massively let down by the staff.

Loved the place. They got our food order wrong and then the bill wrong. They only do Americano and not proper black coffee. And I was nervous about the gluten free-ness of my food as they gave me gluten free bread but also fried pickles - and I checked and I couldn't eat them! The gluten free bread was so nice I was nervous to eat it which is... Good?

Called in for a late Breakfast this morning, it was quite.Plenty of staff, but disintrested, 'could not careless' service. Staff wander about chattering to each other not remotely interested in the customers.Had to wait fifteen minutes for our coffees and a further twenty minutes for our breakfasts.The full english was freshly prepared and hot but the poached egg and avocado was stone cold.We had to ask for the bill three times. Eventually a manager intervened and reduced the bill, But where was he for the previous hour ? Not paying attention to what was going on in the restaurant, that's for sure.Never again.

We had a couple cocktails in the newly opened pink room, our waiter was lovely and attentive even though he was looking after several tables. The cocktails were averagely priced and tasted great presented in an array of different glasses. This was exactly how I expect a cocktail bar to be; fun colours, good music and great drinks!

Just brilliant! Great staff, ambience and cocktails. Can't rate highly enough.

We went for drinks and deserts.They were slow to arrive but well worth the wait. Very impressive food and a nice setting.

Grab an outdoors table , get jolly with some Large and reasonably priced gin and tonics and soak up the York vibe facing bettys , the church and courtyard

This building takes me back to a distant memory of sweetness, amazing building but whoever controls the heating and vibe check needs to go back to level 1. Hasn't got a grasp of mood lighting or warmth. Great attentive staff and cocktails were banging but yeah I'd avoid, as it's missing a couple of key elements, not vibey.

Only visited for cocktails but still had a nice time. The seating is very spacious and comfortable but for us, the music was a little too loud on a night to comfortably hold a conversation. Very fun cocktails that tasted fab.
