Ate a cheesy breakfast toasty with my daughter. Delicious and a nut flavoured latte. Good value and nice music vibes!

Comfortable place with a nice atmosphere. Sandwiches arrived within 10 minutes and were very nicely prepared. The stuffing was very delicious and well shredded so you don’t end up pulling out the entire sandwich content in one go. I very much enjoyed this meal.

What a great find! Happened upon this place en route to the Railway museum, very friendly staff, only had time for a quick drink. Loved the vibe, imagine there's some great acts on here too. Will be back for certain if I ever get more time to visit, will stop for lunch next time.

Records, coffee and food. What not to like? Was all good, service a bit slow so prepare for that. They do evening events that are probably worth checking out.

What a find!!! Visited with the family looking for a light lunch. Fabulous chilled atmosphere, wonderful staff!! Food was terrific, as was the coffee.A real gem of a place and will always return when visiting York!

Seems like a cool place. Service was OK. Wish I'd been hungry as the toasties looked great. Just had a coffee which was nice and strong

Visited this cafe this morning. Not being from York, we tried quite a lot of places before hand and being a Sunday they were all full.Luckily we found this cafe online - what a treat. It was quite busy, but we got a table. Never having had a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast I was a bit apprehensive.Wow. Offering vegan options as well as gluten free bread if required it was a great breakfast coupled with great coffee. If you are in York and fancy something a little different this is a great place to start.

1 star for customer service. Can’t comment on the food because we decided to leave due to the waiting time.I’ve never felt less welcomed and ignored in a cafe than this place. We were sat patiently waiting for about 5-10 minutes when we started trying to make eye contact with staff. Nothing happened, almost like we were invisible. I then had to make a point of saying two or three times excuse me when will we be served. The answer was, ‘soon’. No apology or anything. Bizarre thing was the cafe wasn’t busy, the staff seemed quite frantic but everyone had their food. I’ve been in a lot busier places that served well within time.We ended up leaving as we predicted the wait for food would’ve have been even longer.

We come for the Disney bingo nights and it's ALWAYS amazing. The atmosphere these guys create is unlike anything I've experienced before. Not only is it great for us because we can drink tea all night but it's a really lovely place to go. Can't recommend it enough.

Basic presentation of food for price. At 4.75 for a cheese and ham toasties, a little decoration wouldn't go amiss. Basic white mugs for drinks. Bit lacking on consideration of customers re going that bit extra to make them happy and a few staff smiles wouldn't go amiss.
