Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - York in York

Me and my partner went for food Wednesday and we were amazed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were to us! We got seated straight away and our waitress was so polite and cooperative when we were ordering food and drinks. The food service was prompt and was delicious! My partner had the steak and it was perfectly cooked as he asked. Highly recommend this place for food and Thankyou again to our server for doing an amazing job!

I went with my family after a day of shopping, we was served by a lady called Katie! She was so kind and friendly they was a little short staffed but she handled really well under pressure and made our experience really pleasant. Lovely service would go back again

The menu isn't big but we enjoyed what we chose. All the staff we dealt with were extremely polite and checked on us often. We enjoyed our visit and would go again.

Two of us went on Saturday evening we didn’t book but it didn’t seem busy and got seated straight away, we ordered our drinks and food, the drinks seem to take a while but that was fine, the food how ever an hour and ten minutes to arrive after asking a few times!! Then mine was cold, ended up sharing other half’s pizza! Won’t be going back which is a shame!

Don't listen to the bad reviews. I have gone here many times. Delicious food kind staff. And if you mention someone in your table has a birthday they will change the music and put a candle on and light it. Fabulous. Love it. Recommend it.

Went from a possible disaster to a perfect night.We arrived and sat down 3 adults 2 small children. We ordered drinks etc... got the kids settled. We then ordered food and were told they had no dough. So our favourite garlic bread and pizzas were out the question. Such a shame.Lovely Katie was sympathetic and so kind to my children. We were offered a couple of on the house wines and an 'extra special' dessert for my kids for after.We were made to feel very special and it turned into such a lovely night! Thank you Katie and John. Lovely attention to detail and customer service! Lovely food as always! Thanks guys l!! X

We went as a family of 6 which included 1 wheelchair user. The staff were very friendly and helpful with allocating us a table suitable for the wheelchair to fit on the table. The food was absolutely amazing (we went for breakfast) and the staff member serving us was brilliant and very attentive. We will definitely be visiting again.
