Ful Ford Fish and Chip in York

Iv just been reading the other reviews and I cant t believe what iv seeing,iv been here twice now and the fish here is best iv ever had,big think solid fish pure white and amazing thin crispy batter the best fish in have ever tasted cooked to perfection take no notice of those other reviews,ok iv not tried to app and never will but thsts nothing to do with the quality of the fish

Under staffed. Chips under cooked. I have fish n chips all over Yorkshire (where ever I'm working at the time) so can compare. 3/10

Absolutely disgusting ordered via the app had to wait over an hour for it to be delivered. When finally arrived the food was cold. Peas were like bullets fish greasy chips cold battered sausage was totally unedible. Was our forth time of eating here probably the last.

Food quality is very good, however, I made the mistake of using the King's website to order. It took a payment from my account yet didn't give me an order number. Twenty minutes on the phone later still no fish and chips nor money back. I'm told it "should be" automatically refunded but have little faith left in their IT systems. It's a shame as it was my local but I'll be looking elsewhere from now on

The fish and chips where very tasty. Basic but clean restaurant. Staff pleasant

Went in to order some food to takeaway, stood by the area where you order and wasn't even acknowledged by the staff. Carried on waiting assuming that I would be spoken to in a few minutes and my order taken but still nothing. The staff were all busy with Deliveroo orders and other orders and just stood waiting for items for these. I appreciate the staff are busy and I would have been more than happy to stand and wait for a long time had I at least had an acknowledgement or a hello or a 'sorry, we will be with you in a minute' . Sadly, no one said a thing so I was just stood there waiting and waiting. Not a good first impression of this place and I won't be back. It takes seconds to acknowledge a customer. Such a shame this wasn't done.Hi, sorry not sure how to reply so will just add it to this review, it was Fulford. Also, I did try to telephone my order through but the phone just kept cutting off so I couldn't even do that.

Fantastic fish and chip, good size portion, good prices, nice friendly staff

Sat in the restaurant. Great fish and chips. Crunchy batter with chunky haddock and good chips. Very friendly and efficient service

My rissole was okay as was my partner's cod but the chips were not up to my expectations. The potato was barely cooked and they were more pale than brown. Not sure if they know about double cooking them. The vegetarian menu looked varied and interesting so I would like to return to sample something

Absolutely delicious fish and chips. Lovely restaurant all brand new. I had lightly battered haddock and normally just leave the batter but it was so light I was able to eat all of it.. Highly recommend it's a great price too. My daughter and I had a generous portion each and total with tea was only .£16.
