Khao San Rd in York

Amazing Thai restaurant in York. The food is delicious and the staff working in there is very nice and friendly. The quality of the food is amazing. All is fresh and super tasty . A place I would go back to eat again if I am back in York 😋.

Absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant. The food is outstanding but what made it really special was how happy and smiley the staff were. Really welcoming and helpful and even though the restaurant was busy they provided excellent service. Can't wait to come back!

Excellent food which worked well with the tapas sized plates for a good variety. The atmosphere and interior was really nice. Only negative was the size of the menu which led to a paradox of choice! Well worth a visit.

Have been visiting Khao San Road for years now and it has always been a great dining experience. The food is authentic, delicious, and the flavours are deep and complex.They recently did renovations and changed their food style to tapas. Though their food is still great, the price point has gone from reasonable to pricey. I understand the concept of tapas, and though individual dishes are not expensive, I feel that each dish is on average higher than what I’d expect given the portion size. The rice portion was especially small considering the cost of £3 per order. My partner and I ordered 5 dishes and 2 rice between us and were content but not full.I’d still visit again but it will be more of a special occasion than a regular visit.

This is possibly the best Thai restaurant we have eaten in..... excellent food, staff and atmosphere.. don't forget to book it's very popular..

Delicious Thai food. Probably the best I've had outside of Thailand. Service was goodIt would have been nice to have been offered Prawn crackers on arrival but this is only minor. Would go back if we lived closer.

I heard this is No.1 Thai in York, and I think it is after my meal, even we just had some starters and dessert. Genuine Thai taste, interesting menu with lots of options, good service. Will go again when next visit York!

Eat Thai food weekly and this was up there with the best I've had. The pad prik king was exceptional. Everything was fresh and delicious. Felt bad as had no cash to leave a tip - wasn't the option to leave a tip when paying by card, they should definitely add this option.
