Las Iguanas York in York

I didn't have very high expectations for this place but I am very pleased to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Reasonably priced and cocktails 2 for 1 on a Saturday so was excellent. Our server Caitlin was very attentive and very apologetic when we waited longer than expected for our drinks due to bottomless brunch parties. Overall a good experience and will go back.

The food is varied and exquisite. However, the cocktail pitcher we ordered, seemed to contain no alcohol.

Atmosphere and music was very nice and lively. Pretty far from the rest of the main area of the city so there is that quietness to it too. I ordered the vegetarian enchilada and it was pretty good, however both ends of the enchilada had either raw or hardened tortilla which was not the best. But flavours were great and friendly service too. Would recommend for sure for a good Mexican experience.

We have been to a few restaurants in this chain now which have been good, and the York one was no exception. Gabor was excellent on front of house, we had a delicious set of vegan tacos, lovely mocktails, and the final bill was very reasonable. We'll definitely be going back, and looking forward to sitting up on the terrace next time!

A brilliant experience at York today. Our first cocktail was brought immediately and we worked our way through many during our 90 minute slot for the bottomless brunch. The food was delicious and very filling. I can't fault the waiting staff.

Absolutely delicious. Food was sooo good, we had 5 small plates which was more than suitable for 2 people. Cocktails were really tasty and service was spot on also. We didn't have a reservation so was so glad they fitted us in. Much better than the Birmingham one

Great taste and pretty good take on Tex-Mex. (Speaking as a Texan.) Burro was filling with a nice side a guac. Good service.

Really delicious food and great cocktails. Staff were friendly and courteous. We'll be coming back soon.

Very nice food and fairly large portion sizes. The mocktails were great too, would recommend the raspberry one!
