Food was 40 mins late even though pre ordered. The delivery driver got aggressive when i queried why it was late and the food was lukewarm ehen i phoned about the missing food they weren't interested won't be using them again

My chicken curry was bland and tasteless chips were over cooked and solid my spare ribs where tasteless even though they were in a horrible barbecue sauce I will never use the restaurant again shame

I hate to post bad reviews, but it was the worst takeout in York I've tried. Food arrived 30 mins late despite we ordered it hours in advance. Food was terrible, bland and borderline inedible. Go elsewhere, there are so many better Chinese takeaways in York.

Food was average but service appalling. Ordered at 6.30pm and it arrived at 9pm. At time of ordering we were tolld 7.55pm. Phoned twice to find out where the food was and they just blatently lied! Delivery staff put the food on the doorstep and legged it!

Second time that we l ordered : beef with ginger and spring onion and chicken curry. Both dishes bland and both dishes 3/4 full of white onions!! Beef dish didn’t have any spring onion...Hardly any meat in either dish. Portions are very small. Great takeaway if you like onions. Last time I order from them.

The audacity you have to call yourselves cooks and a restaurant is beyond mad. The food is so so so disgusting that I cannot even describe to you how bad it is. The pork is freaking ham, which has probably gone bad days ago- blueish in colour. The noodles are completely raw. The duck is solely skin. The sweet and sour sauce is literally ketchup diluted in vinegar.

Ordered a veg chow mein and a portion of chips on one of the ordering platforms, estimated delivery time 35-50 minutes. Over 90 minutes later I'm still waiting for my food. I rang the restaurant to ask what was going and the woman told me that my food was put for delivery. 25 minutes later... Still no food. It only takes about 5 minutes to drive from the restaurant to my house. I rang again and the woman was very rude and slightly aggressive - raising her voice and talking over me. Had to cancel the order and get my food from somewhere else. Ridiculous wait for two dishes, overall I waited roughly two hours for no food.

Disgisted with this place .never again will I order and we had been loyal customers for years , even last year when we had a few hiccups with them we stayed but definitely not now . We've had wrong orders delivered before drinks regularly missing 2 hour waits but last night we ordered at 6.30 by 9pm we rang for the women to say I dont know were the driver is he just set off ( baring in mind we live literally off beckfield Lane) so by 9.30 rang again and her reply was hes on his way , so in the end never turned up paid alot of money and to top it off her customer service skills are shocking and rude.AVOID

We have been going here for a while, never again. We ordered chicken wings in OK sauce which when delivered were spare ribs, fatty and tough as old leather. The salt and pepper chicken had the most strangest chemical artificial taste we had to throw it away, chips were reheated and tasted like day before rejects. .. overall very poor, the takeaway itself is starting to look very unkempt and dirty inside!!!!

I ordered a Chinese from this restaurant/takeaway after a long day of work I was very excited for my food however I was extremely disappointed and let down by the service and food from this establishment. Not only was the food tasteless and nearly inedible the service I received from the staff was unacceptable, I ordered my takeaway at approximately 7.15 and my order was due to arrive at 8.20. Well by 8.20 my order had not arrived and the person on the phone was very unapologetic about the service and seemed to not care about the time it had taken however the delivery driver did apologise for the inconvenience of the takeaway. So from this experience I will not be ordering again because of the shocking service and the distasteful food. Would not recommend in the slightest.
