I called on a recommendation that the food was good and it didn't disappoint.The staff were very helpful as I ordered off the traditional menu and didn't understand what was what. The member of staff clearly explained how the dishes are served.I will definitely be back if I'm working in the area.The prices are responsible as well.

Nice service! The food here are good in quality. 腸粉 are excellent, even comparing with those by restaurants in Hong Kong.

Generally dim sum is good. King prawn dumpling, Cheung Fun, Custard Cream buns and Crispy Wonton are good. Pork & Crab dumpling and Shanghai dumpling are so so. The service was good and people are nice.

Excellent food, really good quality. A little cool in the restaurant, but it is quite large. Service very good, nice not to be rushed.

100% recommend! Delicious dim sum! Great decor and full of traditional Chinese restaurants style, highly recommended.

Best Chinese restaurant in York IMO. They serve authentic Chinese dishes (their roast duck / roast belly pork with crispy chow mein is my favourite) as well as the more recognisable dishes you'd see at a typical local take away. Excellent dim sum served on an afternoon. Highly recommended.

Disappointed with service waitress ask for numbers from menu, but we still need to repeat ourselves and point to menu, we asked to get duck and pancake with starter instead of a 3 course, we did not receive it, we asked if this can be added to the main instead, we got the main and again needed to ask where the duck was, different waitress said apologies it was missed but it will be another 5-10min,after all just said forget it take it off. We need to ask for drinks looking around for staff in the middle of restaurant, overall mediocre experience.

Yesterday we went to Maxi’s Chinese Restaurant in York. After the normal temperature was checked we were seated down at a very nice corner. All waiters seem to wear masks. Very nice.We talked about the Maxi’s at Leeds which was no longer there. Miss the Leeds one a lot! Well, teas were served and we ordered. Very fast!We ordered mainly ‘dim sum’. They all came quickly. Wow, they tasted great! Have a look at the photos. Yum yummy 😋

Took our granddaughter in here for a birthday treat. We loved the meal, nothing was too much bother. The waiters must of overheard us discussing Lauren's birthday ,what a lovely surprise when her dessert arrived complete with candle and the happy birthday song, . Highly recommended, only wish we had one near Northampton

Delicious dimsum menu, beautifully decorated. Wheelchair accessible and child friendly. Staff are very helpful. Perfect visit. Thank you.We made the trip from Leeds for the first time since the Leeds branch closed and it was worth the visit.
