Extremely rude staff and very un helpfull. Manager at the collection points was probably the worst. His choice of words at time left a lot to be desired with the f bomb being dropped frequently. Just not what you expect from a mc Donald's

If you're looking for reviews for McDonalds then I don't know what to tell you. It was OK. Everyone working was a bit soul less but I don't hold that against them. I got out of hospitality a while back and have had to slowly rebuild my confidence in humanity too

The most inept and rude staff I have ever experienced. Avoid this dump at all costs. Especially through Just Eat. Totally gives the wrong order (not her fault personally) and then takes no accountability for it and hangs up if you have the audacity to complain about it saying its not their staff. Wrong on 3 different occasions now. Letter of complaint has gone to head office with dates and times. No customer should be treated like that. How about just passing the call to the manager on duty next time.

I found this to be a nice restaurant to sit in, having a large area full of tables that had cleanliness maintained. My employee meal discount could not be used on the app at this restaurant for some reason despite how I returned to work 3 weeks ago and when I spoke to the staff about it, they did absolutely nothing to help me. I bought myself some cheese melt dippers too that were tasty and relatively fresh, though the breadcrumbs were knocked off the top of 2, showing the kitchen workers weren't careful enough.

·

Not their fault, but there were people drinking white lightning and smoking in the toilets... And for that, I probably wouldn't recommend. It is McDonald's, though so I never expect much.Food was as good as it usually is, though. But they seem to be a little behind on updates with their menu. No Chicken Big Mac, for example.

Was busy but staff handled it well. Security guard had some issues being a total jerk with some kids just wrongly because they were teenagers then started swearing at them Infront of all the other children yet they were causing no issues whatsoever. If not for him it would have been a 5

·

Unbelievable first time ever nearly empty !!! Still it is New year's Day York fairly quiet as well , it will pick up later when the hangover people need to get out

·

I ordered with the self-service machine and haven’t got a receipt. One of the staff helped me a lot and make sure I’ll know when my food is ready. I made changes to my meal and they were ignored unfortunately

·

Worst ever - food was stone cold. Burger - bacon double cheeseburger was like a chimpanzee with a stroke had made it and bacon was pretty much all fat. Staff were poor, no systems in place to deal with busy time. Customers waiting and two managers hiding in the office. Very poor. Would not recommend. 29-7-21

Mid-afternoon on a Friday the waiting time was about 5-6 minutes after using the self service computer screen. I simply ordered the new McSpicy, and ate it sat outside in the street on one of their table/chairs. I’m not sure why the restaurant isn’t open to “dine in” because it should be - but maybe it’s due to lack of Staff from Covid pings..? 🤔The burger itself was fine, it’s reasonably spicy so they’ve probably got it about right in that department to cover all basis, but it’s not as good as the KFC Zinger which let’s face it is who their aiming it at. Does this mean KFC will start trying to sell beef burgers…?!?!It was fine but needs to be a real breast of chicken, rather than messed about with processed chicken. Shame, as Macy’s had a good opportunity there.
