Chicken and bacon salad was really tasty, very fresh and filling.

Gluten free (non coeliac) breakfast We get tired of looking for gluten free focused places and thought we would try these guys after struggling to find a park at a local cafe that likely offered a better quality coffee. We decided to just 'grab something' from this cafe but we're delighted to see a full English breakfast and smaller options for eat in. No specific gluten free menu but offered vegan and vegetarian options. However the staff were happy to look up the allergens on their menuNote to GF - no gluten free bread offered, all sausages contain gluten however the chef was happy to add another egg and some extra bits and pieces to make up for the sausage and bread. It was still a very full breakfast and filling. These guys were very busy but the ladies in the restaurant were so happy to help and doing a great job- considering. Line up at the till even if you want just coffee as this seemed to create confusion for some patrons and listen out for your table number. The coffee was pretty average, otherwise I would have given 5 stars but we also have a fussy, Australian palate for coffee and honestly didn't expect a lot from a supermarket cafe. :-) good find.

Second visit to the cafe with family and service was spot on, the food was absolutely delicious, four different meals between us al l and each one was excellent, well done to all staff.

·

Staff is incredibly rude and tries to sell you things you don't want. Wouldn't recommend.

·

Staff are really friendly. Cafe has set out really well to keep people covid-19 secure. My food is lovely. I wanted to swap items on the breakfast but that's not allowed without paying extra. That's my only negative point. So I had egg on toast which is great.

We have visited the cafe at Foss islands twice, both times were brilliant. I personally have to thank Sophie and Bernadette for there kindness shown towards us,nothing was too much trouble for them. They were VERY efficient and a pleasure to be served by them. Thank you both. Morrison's are very lucky to have you!!!!

We went last week and I asked 4 members of staff for milk in the coffee machine over the course of 15 mins in the end one of the food managers managed to get some for me and the other 7 customers behind me. We waited 30 mins for food (they were extremely busy so fair enough) when it came I pointed out that one of the dishes had avacado on it which we'd specifically asked not to have to be told oh well just pick it off... Erm not really the point but as it was just a preference and not a dietary requirement we did so.Went back again today for a second try.Started well as they moved two tables together as we are a family of 7.Went down hill after that food was brought out at 2 different intervals luckily the kids came first ( after waiting an hour surely they'd be able to at least bring it out together)Then 3/7 meals had mushrooms which again we'd specifically asked not to have on the plates (luckily again this is a preference not a dietary requirement we just dont like wasting food) but over all I would avoid if you have a food allergy or intolerance) heard a table 2 down from us send both theirs back due to dietary requirements so its obviously an issue. Which is a shame the food itself if nice enough and hot. Some of the staff also let the place down one woman in particular was rude to several customers then 1 staff member nearly knocked my 3 Yr old flying in an attempt to get into the kitchens before we walked across the door rather than either wait for 2 seconds as there was no one directly behind us or just say excuse me.

·

Very disappointing we have been quite a few. times and nearly all their classic meals are always unavailable with no explanation, also the tables are disgusting, we went in last week and couldn't find a table that was clean and no staff were clearing them so had to leave.

·

Great place for a nice breakfast but make sure you ask for any extras on the same plate or. You will get a separate plate for a single slice of bacon which just seems really silly hahaBut the staff are great really helpful and the food is just good normal grub :)

·

Got here first thing in the morning and the tables were disgusting. It was clear nobody had even bothered to give them a quick wipe down after they'd been used the day before. There were crumbs all over the tables and muck stuck to them. Customers shouldn't have to clean the tables before eating because the staff are too lazy or incompetent to do it.
