Took 2 hours to come. Cold food tasted horrible and expensive for the rubbish you receive. Would not recommend to anyone. If I could give it minus numbers I would.

Actually shocking, had been out all day and we were starving, ordered salt & pepper chips and I swear there were only about 8 chips! I paid £4.60 for them, the curry did not taste nice at all I was so gutted!

Curry sauce was as hard as concrete had to put it on the hob to get it as a liquid and even then it tasted horrible. Probably sat there since the night before. Prawn crackers stale and I had a very bad stomach for nearly a week. Mr Happy? more like Mr clinically depressed. If you want a proper Chinese try New Hong Kong instead. Look at all the other reviews for this disaster of a place no idea how it's still open.That review further down by that Joanne is probably a joke.

This is the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. The Special Chow Mein was so dry and just bland and salty, with little in the way of quality ingredients. The Special Fu Yung was salty and again lacking ingredients. They were busy taking calls and seemed overwhelmed with orders to fulfil.

I used to order crispy beef with boiled rice but I received dry (altered) rice with a dubious color and cripy beef had become elastic like chewing gum. I refuse to think about the quality of other products if they sell the cheapest expired product (rice). this experiment was repeated at least twice before I left this message.

This little takeaway had only 2.1 stars so I nearly went to a different one close by, so pleased I didn’t , service was excellent and fast and food was delicious. I had sweet and sour chicken and it was the best! Would have taken a photo but all nearly gone it’s that nice ❤️

Joint 1st place for the worst York Chinese. Well done, good effort. 2 hrs for inedible food. Chow Mein that smells and tastes of cigarettes. Curry sauce that's solid and possibly 3 day old chips!

It's only 1 star as you can't go into minus numbers. Ordered from here on ubereats and estimated it would be 30-50 mins. An hour later I called to see what the issue was, the rude uninterested woman on the phone said it's on its way.20 minutes later (it's a 5 min walk from my house) the woman said it's on the way, I told her I live round the corner, how on earth is it taking so long. After 3 phone calls and over 2.5hrs later the food arrived piping hot. So if it was on the way after an hour how did it stay so hot for 1.5hrs...ridiculous. The food was like rubber, flavourless and certainly undercooked. Got a refund and ordered elsewhere, total joke. I genuinely worry about people who think it's is good, quality Chinese food

Foul.Chow mein is only noodles. The "beef" chow mein smells and TASTES like cigarette ash. Inedible.The curry sauce is also inedible, you can cut it with a knife and disgusting colour, taste and consistency.Waited 2 hours. They were not answering the phones. Suprised it even turned up.Really, don't believe the good reviews, they must be paid. Save your money, there is no hope for this place. Absolutely disgusting is an understatement. 0 starts is too good for them.

Ordered on Just eat got 2 texts from just eat to say the order would be delayed because they were busier than normal, order was placed at 7pm it arrived at 8.51pm almost 2 hours after the order and it was completely wrong. Managed to get the driver before she left and gave her it back for a refund called the shop and they didn't seem bothered just said that I could have the food for free, although I'd given it back already. Our dinner ended up being some sandwiches from the shop. Never ordering from here again.
