Mmmmmmm this place was a recommendation what a recommendation it was absolutely beautiful food, already want to go back to try a calzone as they looked great going to others people tables, booking would be advised as it got really busy. Oh don't let me forget you have to try the tommy garlic bread!!!

A great place for food with family and friends. Lovely Italian food, with generous portions. Friendly staff. The garlic bread pizza is a must have, and the Calzone Kiev is wonderful. The only bad point is they will close soon, we'll miss their wonderful atmosphere and amazing food. We've been going there for over 20 years now and it's our favourite restaurant. Thank you for such wonderful memories.

This is a delayed review which has been prompted by how good an Italian meal we had elsewhere. We went to Luigi's at the end of August'21 for birthday celebrations following a day out in York. This is probably one of the worst food places we have been to. The hygiene of some of the staff wasn't great and the service was slow. The pizza was as bland as they come and the pasta was very unpleasant. I am unsure if the hygiene standards have changed, or if the food has improved, but we definitely won't be going again.

The food here is wonderful, a big place so lots of space and fantastic pizzas, pastas and desserts. My kids and I love it.

We had really great meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. There was the perfect amount of noise to give it an atmosphere but not to loud so you could talk at normal volume. The dough for the calzone was perfect. If you're looking for a relaxed pizza/pasta restaurant you can't go to far wrong than Luigi's.

Bit of an odd location, but consistently great. We haven't had a bad meal or poor service in all our years of going here. Definitely worth reserving a table at weekends.

Absolutely great place. Brilliant menu and fantastic staff. The best minestrone soup to ever exist? A bold claim yes. But it's true.

Visited here whilst staying at the Premier Inn nearby. Highly recommended - fantastic food, good service, family friendly and reasonably priced. There is no specific children's menu but they will make half portions of any pasta or pizza on the menu so there is loads of choice. The spaghetti carbonara in particular was delicious.

We took our friends here and they were not disappointed! Shared a garlic bread and meat platter for starters, then they had Garlic chicken and seafood linguine (as recommended by us), we had Risotto and lobster ravioli! Amazing as always. We then shared profiteroles for pudding. We didn't have room, but had to be done!
