Nice place to have a meal and chill out. Very friendly staff and superb food. Both in door and out door seating available with separated family and adults designated areas. Highly recommended.

Tatty and not particularly clean. The kids play area is really just a like space for toddlers with very little to actually play with, or some amusement machines where you'll spend loads and never win anything. Specifically went here because of the claim of a kids play area and was very disappointed. Food was ok once it came, but took ages so we were starving with bored and hungry children. Wouldn't go again. Cheap but not a pleasant experience.

2nd year for Christmas Dinner & most definitely the last!!!Christmas 2020 was excellent, well thought out, no waiting, drinks on arrival, tables decorated. Once starters we're out of the way you were invited to get your dinner per table so again no queues. Staff were attentive. Was perfect.Christmas 2021 was atrocious, queued for 25mins to get into the building, table wasn't decorated, starters were stale, you could tell they'd been out for hours & queue for the carvery was a 20min wait, even the staff were complaining. It just felt like a normal Sunday afternoon except you'd paid 3x + the amount!! Definitely won't be returning - how could you get it sooo wrong.

We have been to dinner (carvery) a few times but I've given a rating of 3 due to the food this time round as it wasn't as good. Oil seeped out of the Yorkshire puds and the staff was putting fresh cooked food on old food. Its a shame as my husband ordered the steak pie and said it was lovely.

Went for breakfast this morning around 10am. I'm sorry but it was a real let down. The food we had was nice but there wasn't any hash browns, eggs or toast. The girl behind the counter said they wouldn't be long and would bring me some over. She never brought any over and although I checked back several times I never got any of the above by the time I had finished my breakfast. We did complain as this affected my husband and son too, there was an apology but no offer of discount or voucher for us to return. We were told it was because they were short staffed which I understand under the current climate but not enough was done to try and gain our return custom.

Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff, clean and professional. Had Turkey carvery- turkey was a little pink but fine, veg wasn't amazing but overall good value - the desserts are HUGE and delicious, I'd go back just for them!

Christmas Dinner at 12.30pm . The table was lovely with glasses and crackers.mince pies in wrapping. Our starters were hot and delicious and served very promptly. The queue for the carvery was long but worth it. All the meats were gorgeous and the variety of vegetables available was excellent. It was all fresh and hot. Or waitress was very nice and didn't rush us along. We were that full we took.our dessert home...a massive piece of cake each.Excellent value for money.

Called in for a sandwich. I got charged £3.80 to "upgrade" my chips to have barbecue burnt ends on top. Turns out I got an extra portion of chips but still struggling to find the BBQ burnt ends. There was what appears to be a slice of of carvery beef chopped up and chucked on top of the extra portion of chips. Quite laughable really...The girl came to the table to ask is "everything is okay?" and seem quite shocked when I said no I wasn't happy with the "BBQ burnt ends". She did offer to rectify this problem by taking it away and removing the chips. 🤔 I laughed at her and said forget it. I can see your not seeing my point.Green King stop trying to be something your obviously aren't.Edit - I have emailed the address as your response requested and had no response from the email... Just a public front these replies. 😂

Good parking facilities at this venue, food was very reasonably priced and was good quality. I opted for the small carvery, with a choice of several meats, I had beef which had been slow cooked and was delicious ( no blood pouring out on to my plate ). Huge choice of freshly prepared vegetables and trimmings. Staff were well trained and polite, overall could not fault this place for price or quality, well worth a visit.
