We wanted a (late) light lunch: the menu at the P & P seemed to fit the bill. Excellent light bites, wine good and reasonably priced. Our 2 waitresses, Elle and Lucy S, couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. Thanks!

I almost don't want to leave a good review for this place because I want a table next time I come. Lovely view, great drinks. Didn't eat but the menu looks great and they have a children's menu.

Surprisingly there were very few customers in. The waitress (Mia) was excellent, helpful and friendly. The menu choice was quite limited and food quality not great - soggy bottom half of burger buns, steak thin and over cooked (admittedly we did ask for it to be 'well done'). Drinks were good.

Great location beside the river. Lovely bright and airy environment. Staff were really fabulous. We were meeting up as a family and your staff provided excellent service. Food was delicious and good quality.

Such a lovely ambience about the place. I Visited here with a group of friends and given the past 2years it was a welcomed positive experience. Just what we needed. Staff were very attentive and the service was brilliant. Will definitely be returning. The manager I must say deserves credit for the way this place is ran and the team he has.

Lovely staff, welcoming and friendly. Our cocktails were made quickly and were fab! Highly recommend you stop by if you're in the area. We didn't order food, but the plates coming out from the kitchen were making me a bit jealous as they looked very tasty.

Easily my favourite bar in York! The staff are so so friendly, the 2 for 1 cocktail deal is such good value for money and the food is top quality! You can even hire out the upstairs bar as a venue for parties, staff dos and the likes. The manager Mike is also one of my favourite people on the planet! If i could give it more stars I would hahah.

Booked online for 11:30. I received an email saying the venue did not open until midday, but I did not read that message. When we got there, just after 11:30 the barman/manager(?) was expecting us and took our order straight away. It seems that the staff including the chef had been prepared for our early arrival even though they didn't usually start at that time. In short, yes, the website needs fixing so you can't book a table when the place is supposed to be closed, however, the staff went beyond the call of duty and served us out-of-hours. On top of that, the food was faultless, perfectly cooked and presented.

A great way to spend an hour or two. It's far from geeky. Some incredible exhibits and so much information. It's free or you can make a donation on entry or around the museum.

Delicious cocktails and lovely atmosphere. Staff were super friendly considering it was so busy and they were run off there feet. Will be back!
