I normally wouldn't have gone there, but the lovely guy who works here saved out night after most restaurants didn't let us in so thank you! :)Being Italian it's kind of ironic to see this plates - the bruschetta was literally tomato on pita bread, but the food was tasty, reasonably priced and quick service. Nice cocktails as well!

I have been to this restaurant a few times, and the service has varied massively from being all but ignored the first time, to having a very attentive server on my last visit. The food is always pretty good, though I wouldn’t suggest upgrading to the larger pizzas as I found they used hardly any toppings (it was a sunblush tomato pizza, with about 6 tomatoes on it). Try to get seated on the right hand side of the door, the tables are more spaced out and the view is nicer. The cheesy garlic bread sharing starter was nice, and the fried mozzarella was a bit of a let down because the sauce that came with it was fridge cold.

Arrived for a meal at 7:30 and was advised the kitchen were running behind, which was helpful to know.Starter came at 8:30pm main at 9:20pm.Food was delicious apart from the lobster ravioli as was extremely spicy which was disappointing.Staff were lovely and very helpful.Was given a discount due to the very long wait period.Overall experience was nice.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice food, but the desserts were slightly disappointing; as we were using a voucher from Buy a Gift I can’t really complain as the price was amazing. A lot of veggie options even on the limited set menu. Will definitely visit again.

Service was great no problems but food was so bland, my daughter had carbonara which was awful just spaghetti with some cream, the couple next to us she had carbonara and I noticed she left hers as well. Shame because the food at vanguard one is always amazing.

Delicious Carbonara al Forna 😋 washed down with a very mellow and palatable Shiraz. Service impeccable especially Maisie, who was personable and attentive. Well done!
