Quaker Wood Pub and Restaurant in York

Today we had a family lunch for our special anniversary the food was lovely and the staff very welcoming especially the guy in the red shirt behind the bar.

Went for a family Sunday dinner. Ordered all food from the app, very happy with all our meals.

A friendly food and drink place, with friendly informative staff. Will go back again.

We took our Grandchildren for lunch and we all enjoyed our meals. Good service and polite staff.

First time I've been in. Great Atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good selection of drinks and food. Very reasonably priced.

Spot on. Went for our yearly pre-xmas family meet up and ate from the Xmas menu. Excellent value food and kids meals are great. Really helpful, friendly and welcoming staff.

Really great service and staff and well managed. Lots of choice on the menu, good choice of drinks and all tables and toilets clean. Food was good, only criticism would be the amount of food served on skillets, steak ordered medium rare was well done because it kept cooking, if it wasn't for that it would be a 5 star rating. Would definitely recommend.

Met up with a friend this evening for a bite to eat and a catch up...lovely place. Staff great...food OK...very dissatisfied with the portion size of main meal.....had an extra side of coleslaw at a cost of £1.19 and it was no more than a tablespoon.

Today I went for lunch with my auntie and great auntie the girl who served us was lovely and very helpful however the food was very poor and we ate very little.The manager however was extremelyrude to my auntie when she asked for a dessert he was not very happy as we had closed our tab and he had to open another one ( one button on the till ) iheard him from across the other side of the pub talk to her disgusting he really needs to brush up on his customer service skills and get rid of the chip on his shoulder , we will definitely not be going back the corridor has a very strong smell of urine and the cobwebs under the lights are bad , think they need a new cleaner
