Riverside Farm in York

Great pub.our first visit to this place,we were on a day out at the time.we went in and had a fantastic carvery.the staff were very attentive and very friendly and the carvery was superb.one of the best ive ever eaten.

Haven't been here for a very long time so it was a nice change to come to here with the kidsBig wacky warehouse for the little ones to run around in menu there was plenty of choice I opted for the carvery I was missing my pigs in blankets but it didn't spoil the meal it was hot and the meat was nice and tender. My family had the burger scampi and hunters chicken they all said it was hot and tasty we will be back when in the area 😋

The pub / restaurant itself is quite nice, the food however is not the greatest. Its not terrible or even bad, its just not good. I know restaurants pre-prepare food, but in this instance, it just tasted reheated. Still, it was priced accordingly and I was hungry.The waiting staff were fantastic: polite, always smiling and very helpful.

Went here last minute for my son's 18th. The staff were lovely and really looked after us. The food was all great. Prices and portions all better than average. Lots of parking. An all round great experience. The place is a 90 minute drive away for my partner and myself, but we both said that we would happily come back.

Visited on a Saturday lunch time. We didn't need to book as it was quiet. A good carvery is available along with traditional pub food. The food is nothing special, but certainly edible. Staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. Suitable for families.

The service was excellent however one of our meals was of a very poor standard and replaced with the same dish of a slightly better standard but not something you would pay for. All staff were excellent and the meal price was refunded. The other 3 meals were nice.

Called in for breakfast on the way home from York, did not disappoint. 2 breakfasts, 2 pots of tea and 2 large fresh oranges, £20. Maybe a slice of black pudding next time, cheers.

Called in on way home from York. Food and service very good. Young girls on the till and entrance very polite and professional. Ordered the gluten free chicken and bacon salad with a side order of jacket potato and the Hunters chicken with chips from the main menu. Food was very nice. Will definately go back.

Came here yesterday. Arrived to a very big and busy car park took my lad in to the play area which was £5 it was literally empty got busy later on tho. WiFi was poor in there but my lad loved the wacky warehouse and outdoor play area. Went into almost an empty bar around 7pm ordered food which took almost an hour was OK tho as we wasn't in rush but was my only complaint and the price of drinks! green King really do have your pants down on a pint!

Called in en route to our holiday accomodation. Really nice place. Lots of good choice food wise, including Carvery. Good service, if a tad slow. But would reccomend.
