Roberto in York

A real gem in York City centre. The place is welcoming, small and with genuine Italian meniu. We all loved it. The small ice creams that come with the drink were the real treat and what made Roberto a place to remember

Superb ice-cream... Was originally intending to do to another ice-cream shop which turned out to be closed. Happy that we found Roberto's, and will be back

Quality over quantity limited selection, happy they put on an offer before they closed so there wasn't a waste of produce but advertising a 50% off on cakes and gelato then once you've made the selection and paying for it do they tell you certain things weren't included I think is a little poor on their part.Making you feel obligated to purchase them.This is why they lose a start for poor advertising/false advertising techniques.

Incredible ice cream gelato shop in York!! Truly phenomenal taste with so many different flavours that keeps changing with different seasonal produce! Staff members were lovely and despite the small que it was so worth it :)!! Staff were really nice and it is truly one of a kind gelato in York. Highly recommend it!

Friendly staff fabulous ice cream but a bit disappointed with my food my poached egg was hard and the bacon didn't look like it had been cooked long so I couldn't eat my bacon. I been a few times and enjoyed it so I still give them a 5 star as its only once its happened to me..

We came upon this place when we were walking around York and we were glad we discovered it.It is the best place to get Gelato, so many lovely flavours to choose from and made my day. They also did cakes, sundaes, Italian bakes, crepes and waffles and served coffee and tea. All of which were all so good. The staff were all friendly and helpful.You can eat in or takeaway. We will be going here every time we are in York.

Best Italian ice-cream we are in a long time. Delicious and reach in flavour ice-cream. We had passion fruit flavour which tasted literally like a fruit itself. Vanilla and which had pod seeds and intense natural vanilla flavour and Baccio which is typical Italian ice-cream with Nutella and whole hazelnuts, this one was mouth watering. If you are ever visiting York don't miss this place. I didn't even manage to snap photos of the ice-cream we ordered properly as we enjoyed it so much.

Stunning cakes and ice cream, the cannoli are a perfect sweet treat to go with a coffee. Its hard to imagine finding better ice cream in york than this place. The coffee is very good to boot. You can eat in or take out.

Super coffee and icecream bar. Fun time and great black americano coffee (best of our stay) with lovely touch to coffee saucer in mini decorative presentation. Really good icecreamsm had 2 flavours, tasty, strong flavours. Family popped back next day. Steepush stairs down to toilet but handle so fine. Welcoming, lovely, friendly staff.

It also serves homemade pizza slices (Veggie as well.)Coffees Tea's the usual drinks hot and cold. Cakes/sweets etc.Tell you what!
