Salt And Pepper in York

Sorry but couldn’t eat the Donna Kebab. The meat was under cooked and tasteless and the lettuce was sour. Should have known when red cabbage wasn’t available that this was not the real deal. Search for a good kebab continues in York.

The best chips and gravy I have ever had in my life. I swear this could resurrect Lazarus!! Love salt and pepper!!

Asked for yogurt mint and they gave me garlic mayo to push me out of the shop but made out it was yogurt mint! £9 wasted on chips and kebab meat !!!!!!

£9 for pale un-meaty donner meat on overcooked chips. Nothing else to say.

Best pizzas in town by far. I fell asleep one evening and missed the delivery drivers call. They offered to cook it fresh the following day great service, great people.

Make sure you check your order before leaving! I live out of town and found I was missing items. I called to let them know but was told they were not prepared to deliver. No food for me. Will not be going again.

Staff are rude, food is bad and their ability to sort it is WORSE. Why would I ask for a pineapple PIZZA for it to then come out as pineapple on garlic bread!? What’s worse is the staff’s response - I took the ‘pizza’ to them and they told me it’s what I asked for... the best thing is - I wasn’t drunk! They simply presumed I was because of the time, however I wasn’t drinking due to a religious ban 😂
