Subway in York

First of all I wLked in to crates everywere, nothing was stocked, the 2 ladies who were serving me were more interested in their personal conversation than serving the customers, the lady was very rude to me I already told her what I wanted for her to continue asking even though I already said, to top it off the change I was given a coin that was an illigal tender (the old pound coins that nobody takes no more) please be more polite to your customers and check the change that is handed to you and the change you give out! Not all of us have time to go to a bank!

Don't wear face masks. Only guy wearing one with big red nose wasn't wearing it right either. Guy with short grey hair sneezed in direction of food. The hygiene in this branch is disgusting also why does the woman with short red hair have no customer service skills or manners.Avoid.

Went in to buy some sandwiches butNoone drom staff even say hello, there was 2 fuya from Deliveroo waiting for their order ,so nobody could place an order till this deliveroo order was done so i left and 2 other customer left too.Not greeting not estimated time of waiting given, a guy who wanting just to pay for Christmas couldnt even do so!Very bad customer service.

Lovely food and coffee but the experience was made better due to the guy that served us. Lovely helpful lad so would recommend going there.

Bought cups of tea but weren't told till after that they had no milk. No list of drinks up. Cookies good .

WARNING - ZERO HYGEINE. One member of staff put her fingers in her mouth no less than 8 times and another wiped her nose on the back of her hand. No hand washing, then handling knives, bowls and touching the till. This place needs closing down and staff retrained in basic hygeine. Disgusting.

The only reason I ordered subway from here on just eat is cause it's the only one that shows up. The food from there is never good, it's made sloppy and as for toasting there sandwiches it's almost like they dont even try and I always have to toast them myself before eating them. Dont get me wrong, once I've toasted it correctly it tastes great but they have poor service. I recommend avoiding subway on blossom street and make the extra little journey to the one on stonebow instead.

Lovely service! Pop here once a week and always get fast service and delicious food! Very sanitary and very customer focused. I'm always a happy customer here ! Loved the fresh cookies I got today 😍😍

Would give ZERO stars if I could. First time as a family we’ve had subway! Never again! Ordered through just eat. No issue with just eat as the delivery was fine, the food thought.. appalling! We paid £32 for 4 subs, hash browns and drinks. Subs were thrown together, missing cheese and extra cheese also on one of them! Was basically meat and dry bread. Ham slices were discoloured round the edges and stale, so went in the bin. I basically had to strip the sandwiches and remake them, adding our own cheese and grilling them as guess what... that hadn’t been done either like we requested. Also there was a drink missing from our order. Absolute rubbish. Have heard so many good things about subway over the years, but I’m no way ever going to pay over £7 for a slapped together, stale, dry, half made sandwich again. This place gives the subway brand a bad name! 0/5

What's a joke!!!Won't be going here again. I've been quite a few times. And on many of those occasions it's like the staff are scared to put more salad on my sandwich. The whole point of this store is so we can have our sandwichs our way. So when I ask for more than 10 pieces of jalepeno for example. I Dont expect to be told that the uptight owner can't afford the jalepenos. What an absolute joke this store is.
