I like it here quick and tasty meals , convenient too

Had a really nice chicken curry with chips. Rate this place!

Only negative of this takeaway is when you unfortunately have to get served by the male who works here. He is very rude and unborthered both in person and over the phone. The food and the lady who work here are amazing so hopefully you get served by her!

Good quality food, vegan and vegetarian dishes are tasty. Reasonably priced. Waiting time about 15 minutes.

Brilliant Chinese food but not sure why it's closed

I travel from Acomb for their food as it’s the best Chines in York, I’ve been a customer for some 20 Years, I’ve tried other chines shores more local to me but I alway come back it’s worth the travel.

This is my local Chinese takeaway. There food is really my girls love there egg fried rice. They do not deliver and don't do crispy seaweed but most places that don't deliver are really nice. This is a family run business and they are all very nice & friendly .

Couldn't disagree more with some of the other reviews! We drive over from Dringhouses just to use Tasty House because it's by far the best Chinese takeaway I've had in York and I've had a lot! The Chow mein especially is beautiful.

Even though this place is just a brief walk from our home, we tend to drive to Crispy Duck on Boroughbridge Road instead. Our reason is because (even though their portions are generous, and prices are cheap) the quality is poor. They evidently use cheap ingredients, especially their chicken dishes which must be made from the worst meat possible. We prefer quality over quantity, so rarely bother with this place. It’s a shame because otherwise it would be really convenient.

Perfect place to grab some cheap Chinese takeaway when you are starving late in the evening! The owner is very friendly, and the portion of food is really generous. What a steal for this price! Highly recommended! Would definitely return to grab a quick meal when I visit York again.
