Very nice traditional pub, good sized dining area, various beers on handpull at reasonable prices. Very pleasant staff. Has a large car park and outside seating. They have an a la carte menu with a variety of dishes, plus the Sunday roast, which was ok, not the best I've had recently. One of us had the steak pie which went down very well. Less than £80 for four, two courses and drinks so pretty good value.

Lovely cosy old pub with outdoor seating at the front with parasols. Solid wooden flower troughs. Had woodburner lit when I visited. Black Sheep and Timothy Taylor Landlord, along with Blonde and Headland Red. Closed on Mondays and also Thursday daytime. Does food. Has larger dining area through the pub at the back. Good friendly and prompt service but especially from the lovely lady with dark hair and glasses. Thank you! Recommended.

Staff very welcome and helpful and honest, food was very good and pleasant surroundings. Enjoyed by all. It was very busy and we would have a 40 minute wait, but the staff pushed through and it was quicker than expected

We really enjoyed our meal here. I ate from the specials board and the warm breaded brie with cranberry sauce was excellent! A nice pint of Wold Top's Headland Red and a main of bacon chop topped with cheese and tomato at a very reasonable price made this a trip out to the Gait Inn worthwhile 😀Definitely would head back to in the future.

Took two elderly relatives to the Gait Inn, Millington, E. Yorkshire today and had a delicious Sunday lunch, well cooked, piping hot and served with homemade Yorkshire Puddings. One of the party had haddock and chips, which was also very good. Well-kept Black Sheep Ale was quality. The staff were friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much for them; they gave the best service I've had in a long time and they were lovely and respectful with my elderly relatives. Dogs are accepted in the bar and there are outdoor tables in a small garden. The large car park is at the back of the pub. Will definitely go back.
