The Greenhouse Tearoom in York

We popped in for a coffee and cake on a really hot day and sat outside under an amazing tree with leafy branches. We ordered the courgette, lime and pistachio cake which was light and delicious. Having looked at the rest of their menu, we will definitely be back for a light lunch.

Sat outside in the lovely terrace and swiftly serviced by a welcoming team.Food wasn't the usual offerings, it was well thought out and extremely delicious.The sourdough bread incredible.

We love this place. Service is great and coffees, cakes and breakfast are lovely.

Lovely food, very friendly, helpful staff and a great place to go after spending lots of time looking around the brilliant plant nursery/garden centre. We will return.
