A tad over priced, Β£3:35 for a bread cake wi two rashes of bacon. Staff were friendly enough,a lot of them stood around doing nothing while a que was growing with just one person serving

Great place. Staff are friendly and efficient. Clean and tidy and reasonably priced. Always enjoy visiting this place.

Lovely clean, comfortable and friendly pit stop cafe. Food was lush and they also do a full vegetarian breakfast πŸ˜‹

Good service. Good food. The lady singing was a pleasure to hear. Friendly smiling staff. Can well recommend

I ordered two sandwiches and two coffees, first thought's bit pricey but didn't mind, got the drinks served straight away, 20 minutes later asked a member of the staff lady with glasses midd 50's and she was so rude to me saying we are busy and then said do you want your money back, I explained I only asked how long the order will be, then 5 mins later she slammed my order on the counter, I'm sorry but no more custom. from me

Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. They need to fit porches on front and back doors - freezing draught in winter when they are open...Coffee was great, food was very acceptable. Will visit again.

Middle of the road with this, I have being to there toilets, (four stars - could be five star if open 24 hours!) I have never used the cafe, its close to home (25 miles away?) So never been hungry or wanting drinks at the time of visiting! But I'm sure it's decent food or they wouldn't be so busy? If at some point I eat there I will rate again possibly 5 stars we will see!

Excellent old established roadside cafe. No frills but very clean and tidy. Limited range of basics but well cooked and presented, very good value, and served by friendly staff. Seasonal variations. Access to co-located toilets by token free to cafe customers. Well worth breaking your journey here.

As a truck driver, I've passed here a few times, always wanted to give it a try, and I'm glad i did ! Got a cup of tea one morning along with a sausage and bacon bun, tea was hot, which is a big plus for me, as most places it can be lukewarm.. the bun to was nice and hot, size was actually bigger than i imagined (which is great) and i thought the price was good to ! Nice big lay-by outside so even us truckers can squeeze in. Certainly plan to stop by again in the near future.

Usually call here food really lovely. Lovely young lad serving too very pleasant and actually looked like he was enjoying it. The lady that served me was rude I asked for 2 tokens for toilet she gave me 1 I said can I have another she said I only asked for 1 I said no I asked for 2 so after a huff and eye rolling she got me another. She was very abrupt when I was ordering and talking over me. It wasn't the little lady that normally serves tall thin lady.
