The Phoenix Inn in York

Went tonight for my first ever jazz session. It was a fantastic night. The band were great and took requests and the girl behind the bar worked hard and was friendly. Highly recommended.

Nice ale selection, great jazz nights, and a sublime beer garden come the summer months. Bar billiards table is a bit shaky but worth a visit if you are a fan of the game!

Really nice friendly pub. Good selection of hand pulled ales, open Rfire roaring. Gtrat chilled atmosphere, what is not to like?

Outskirts of the wall, so handy if you are thirsty on your walk. Although I made my visit early doors, the staff are friendly, the interior is comfortable with a nice blend of "local pub feel/old style come modern".

Bit off the beaten track. Always a good atmosphere in here. Staff very friendly. Nice and cosy. Piano masterclass on Fridays, if your looking some free live music.
