It's a basic whetherspoons. Good selection of booze and food at great prices. I'd give 4 stars if it wasn't for the fact it just happened to be that this particular outlet is housed in a very uninteresting, ugly, modern building. However, it was very spacious.

As any other wetherspoons, fast service, great food, good price, but the coffe machine was broken for almost a week, which I think is not acceptable for a high demand of customers like this pub.And still selling the breakfast with coffe/tea included And not offering a replacement.

Been there about 22 years but still looking modern. Nice view onto the river. Staff are friendly and do there best. Popular with students and visitors. Usual Spoon's food. Just away from York center. Can get busy at times 😃

We had our breakfast and a few beers at night whilst we were staying next door at Travelodge. The food was great and not too expensive. Great night with lovely atmosphere as it was student night. We will be visiting again soon once all the Xmas shopping madness has passed, York is getting uncomfortably busy at this time of year just too many visitors, sadly a victim of its own success.

Can't beat Wetherspoons for value for money. This one has a nice outside seating area next to the river which added to the event. Ordered from the app and service was as expected. Recommended 👌

Nice food, and nice drinks, but food and drinks weren't that good, the Pepsi didn't have a full taste, it tasted quite watered down and the bread for the burger was quite dry. Both the food and drinks were still nice but can't give 5 stars as it wasn't quite as good as I was expecting.

A modern Spoons. Attached to a Travelodge. Outside seating. Sreas inside to reflect your mood, ie. secluded, bright or normal. Jolly crew work there. Used it for breakfast & drinks on a weeks break in York.
