What a find, good food and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back Just went there a second time and the food was delicious, if you are not hungry just go for the ice cream

Very Impressed. Booked a table here last weekend, never been before i'm very happy i did. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was lovely and the main thing was the food!! I can honestly say it was one of the best meals both me and my partner have had. From start to finish from the Garlic Tomato bread to the Gelato for dessert we enjoyed every part of it. Would defo go back and 100% recommend!

Delicious freshly cooked Italian food which was being frequented by locals, visiting Italians and day visitors to York. Varied choice of gelatos and traditional Italian deserts to eat in or takeaway. Good choice of drinks as well and a lovely chilled atmosphere. We will definitely be back. It is popular and I would recommend booking a table.

Amazing experience. A true authentic restaurant with some great food and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely don't forget to try the endless flavours of Gelato they have here!

Amazing food, relaxed service. Perhaps a little too relaxed in all honesty. Having to request service, bills and make payment. All credit to the chef though.

Food is incredible, people that work here are awesome! The waitresses can’t do enough for us. Chef Pepe is passionate about what he does and happy to chat to his patrons! Proper Sicilian people serving authentic Italian food. Check the Sicilian sausage, pizzas, ice creams, tirimisu! Yum.

Stubbled across this restaurant and so glad we did! Beautiful food and wine, really friendly staff.

It's been a while since I have been here, being a bit cautious about going out since Covid. But decided to meet a friend for lunch & so pleased I did. It has been freshened up and looks really smart but relaxed. The staff were lovely and our food was great. Mussels with spicy tomato sauce for me & ham/mozzarella arancini for my friend. Everything was really good & we decided we will come back for a starter/main/dessert in the future as the cannoli looked so good. Lovely, authentic Italian food using fresh high quality ingredients for very reasonable price. Can't recommend highly enough.

What a gem! We loved everything about Trinacria: from the food which was tasty and fresh to the service which is SO kind and efficient, you just cannot go wrong with this restaurant. An added bonus are their prices, we paid 36.05£ for 3 main courses (two of them in the pics), a side salad and a small scoop of ice-cream (which was scrumptious). We will happily come back again when in York!
