Love all the vegan options! The new vegan crispy 'squid' is my favourite! Love the miso soup as a side too and the free complimentary green tea is a nice perk 🍵

First time visiting, was worried that might not like the menu but I was very surprised. Great choice of food along with plenty of vegan options too. The restaurant had a great vibe and atmosphere. Food arrived very quick even though it was quite busy. Food tasted amazing along with the drinks. Would highly recommend, definitely new favourite restaurant and will be coming back.

First visit ever to Mama's House of Waga. I don't like vegetables, but I ate them all, now that's saying something. Used a fork for the food and the chopsticks as mini drumsticks. Great experience.

if you haven’t tried the vegan fish and chips… you’re missing out!! they taste exactly like well fish and chips just a healthier option!🌱 lovely staff who recommended what we should try and amazing food as always ☺️

Terrible experience, dirty stained tea cups.. informed the staff and he said it was fine the cup was just heavily stained and it wouldnt come off.. appalling, in the picture shows how dirty and how my cup looked like and my girlfriends cup. terrible service, no apology.. was handed another cup with tea after and was barely any flavour and colour in the tea... decided to leave as i wouldnt want to destroy my evening with such rubbish customer service and product! scary to think how poor the standards are, and hygiene. shame i cant score it 0 zero... awful restaurant.. avoid!

Just been (Boxing day) to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. There were four of us, one of us being a wheelchair user. Everything we ordered was so tasty! Great menu. Lovely decor/ambience. Friendly staff. Really impressed at everything including the access for the wheelchair. We certainly will return & I know the issue we'll have is trying to choose what to order. 5 stars!!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The wait to go inside the resturant was ridiculous given 50% of the tables were empty but once we got seated the food and the service was exceptional

Disappointed. Took an age to get served after being seated. Food wasn't amazing. Katsu curry was dry and the toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned all day.Maybe it was down to them being short staffed? Not the best Waga's I've been to unfortunately

Top quality food served in record time with the best service ever. Harry, our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and professional. The chefs must’ve worked so hard to get the food served to us at such at such a high standard.Highly recommended when visiting York.
