Maharaja in Stirling

2nd time in Stirling & the maharaja. Directly across from the golden lion hotel. Starters were really good . Chicken chat got a nice kick to it. Main meal delicious. Nan bread massive. Portion sizes good. Will definitely go back bext visit to Stirling.

Next time I have an Indian I’m going to be disappointed as it will have Maharaja to live up to! A lovely calm atmosphere with easily the best food we’ve had in a while. Their onion bhaji was delicious and the korma and tikka masala full of flavour without being spicy (spice wimps over here), Naans were fresh and tasty! Just wish I lived closer so I could go again!

No way... worst... I ordered spicy kerala curry.. but the food was with basic tomato onion gravy with no flavour.... oh no... never expected... given different name just to make menu bigger...

Probably the best Indian meal we have ever had. I've been to Stirling many times and stayed across the road but never been in (my mistake). My husband and I went in here and the food was absolutely amazing, the menu is quite extensive and we both tried something different. Portion sizes on the starters is quite big so we didn't manage even half our mains. We did ask if we could take away the remainder which was no problem at all. Price was excellent for what we had and I would most definitely visit here again, absolutely amazing 👏

I've eaten in every single Indian restaurant in Stirling, Glasgow and beyond. Got to say it was one of the best chicken tikka main meals I've had, they also gave me the curry sauce to my taste, which is hot. The portion was Huge, the delivery driver was soo polite and it arrived on a Friday night within half an hour. Very impressed. Also called the restaurant directly to make my order so as it came the way I like it. Five star from me, well definitely be back to sample more of the Currys just hope the live up to this one.

Visited for a quick lunch on my own today. Place was nicely busy. Staff were brilliant. No problem in seating me, taking my order and taking care of me. Eg I finished my starter but my main drink, mango Lassi was to come yet, so, unprompted the lady came down and placed a glass of iced water and lemon on the table for me while I wait for main course and the Lassi. As regards the food.... Really nice. You can tell that they use good ingredients and take pride in what they produce. I had a Bhoona and you could taste the component parts of the sauce. It really was so enjoyable. I also had a naan with the Bhoona. Again, it was fresh and excellent. I am glad that I made the impromptu decision to drop in. I will be back soon. The best curry house in Stirling authentic mouth watering fresh food full of flavour a must if you are visiting Stirling

This is the first time I've been here and it won't be the last. The food was excellent and the staff pleasant and friendly . The portions were ideal for lunch and the price was reasonable.

Good service great food and reasonable priceThere have lunch deals 3 courses meal for 7.45 or 9.45 per person.I have ordered chicken chaat for starter, lamp special madras and tea, they're all good and quick served.I really love a yogurt dip for chicken chaat, it was good combination.For my main course, lamp is very tender and softly, that's Great!But please carefully if you cannot eat spicy food!All staffs are friendly and politely.
