Visited with my wife and my 5 years old son to celebrate my wife birthday. We used to be regular customers when we lived in Manchester and we never had issues at all. As we always loved the restaurant, I thought it would be a nice surprise for my wife to take her to the restaurant we always loved to celebrate her birthday and I did not mind driving from Cambridge for this. This was a big mistake. We arrived at 18:30 and as we were starving we order our meals quickly, around 18:45, we are familiar with the menu. After 25 minutes (19:10) our two starers and our son Pizza arrived and all was very good quality food. Then everything has changed, my son has finished his pizza and started nagging for the dessert which supposed to be left to the end to celebrate his mum birthday. To stop him nagging we had to order the cake for him which again took with them 30 minutes to prepare and yet the main course to arrive. We chased the person who was in charge and every time he says 5 minutes. His initial five minutes was actually 1 hour and 15 minutes. Yes the food arrived at 20:25 and we had to rush finishing the food as our son started to get bored sitting in the restaurant for over two hours and finally fall asleep on the chair. Obviously we were left with no time to celebrate my wife birthday and all was ruined because of the bad service. When paying he bill the lady offered 10% on the bill as apology for what happened and she justified this due to the shortage in staff. With the discount we still have to pay 92 £. For such high bill a much higher quality service should be provided. If it is true that there is shortage in staff, then the should take the number of orders they can deliver to their usual high quality and not compromising the reputation. The food was as good as always but it is the very poor management that ruined everything. Offering people discount is not an acceptable solution or compensation for ruining a special event. I hope these things solved as till then I can not see myself visiting them again.

We went on Friday night, what an amazing place! Food was excellent quality, taste & value for money, definitely worth another visit when next in Leicester!

Booked here for my girlfriends birthday, she has a nut and tree nut allergy, website doesn’t have an allergy menu but called up and they assured us they can cater for such an allergy and they do all the time, went out for dinner to only be told she can’t have anything containing flour because of traces, so basically all the pizzas and starters and anything battered, this is so poor because we couldn’t end up eating here so had to find somewhere else on a Saturday night on her birthday, do not recommend to anyone with an severe allergy. Also to note, took over 20 minutes just to order some drinks once seated, had to ask 3 times. Staff were rude and seemed like they didn’t want to be there.

Visited on Saturday. Terrible service and terrible food. We were a party of 11 with a table booked for 8pm. We arrived 15 minutes early only to be told the table would be ready for 8.30. This happened again at 8.30 stating we had to wait for another 30 minutes. 1 hour and 30 minutes from the original booking is when our dining experience or lack of began. The restaurant offered no apology and had the audacity to reduce the bill by £20 for our terrible experience. This added insult to injury. During the evening of our wonderfully hellish experience, the table next to us up and left stating that they would not be paying for the meal. Now on to the meal which was a joke in itself. Please think long and hard before dining here. It’s fair to say I will never be parting with my money at this establishment. Give me a pot noodle any day!!!

Terrible experience, if I could give zero stars I would, waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for the food , this was after much complaining, it arrived cold and of very poor quality, drinks alone were exuberant. Generally the service was poor, some of the more mature waiting staff were borderline rude, attitudes changed when we complained. For the prices charges you expect a high end experience, this fell way, way short. We did receive a big discount, but even then, it felt like a complete waste of money and an evening that we could have spent elsewhere, will not be returning.

The aesthetics of the restaurant were incredibe and so festive! 🎄The lively ambience makes it a perfect spot to visit for date night or with friends & family The food was full of flavour! The lobster ravioli was divine 🤤 the Capesante al Forno (scallops) was quite disappointing as there was too many breadcrumbs! Gamberoni Luciana is a must try too, it was so delish!⭐Service was a bit slow as it was so busy but the staff were friendly ⭐Would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you love Italian food🇮🇹⭐

I’ve visited twice in December. 1st time was busy and the staff were great. 2nd visit was terrible. Not busy at all and our order was forgotten and took over an hour to arrive. All the staff avoided our table as they knew we’d waited so long and every time we asked about our food, the staff were very rude and even blamed the kitchen staff! Some money was knocked off our bill after i had to complain about the rudeness and lack of apologies. Food was nice but wouldn’t go again with so many other great Italian restaurants in Leicester.

This was a lovely restaurant, food quality was better than expected and price was very good. I like that service charge is included so you don’t need to care about having to tip and overall the price was brilliant. Slightly lacking in a range of various alcohol but that may be more of my part for not liking wine as they have plenty of that with it being an Italian. Just a single cider option would be nice though.

I am absolutely delighted by this place. The service was superb with Piras, he gave us such great recommendations that I would have had seconds if I had room left to eat. Unfortunately, I did not take the name of our second waiter who was very kind and friendly. The food was to die for!!We got mussels in cream sauce and thinly sliced beef with Parmesan cheese that we couldn’t have enough of. For our mains, we had a pizza and pasta that were both really good, but no where near our starters. We ordered half a bottle of wine that complemented the food perfectly. I don’t remember the name of the dishes, but I do have pictures. Don’t mind my bad photography skills
