Bengal Spice in St Albans

Very dissapointed. Starter was ok. Ordered Methi chicken main, didn't get methi chicken but got some strange thrown together chicken and tomato dish (Methi chicken is made with fenugreek and is always green in colour, I think they just couldn't be bothered to make what I -paid for-). Anyway, won't order for here again.

Very rude and disrespectful person at reception. I paid £8.95 for “Balti Prawn dish” which is made with very cheap tiny frozen prawns which is tasteless!! Waste of money and never order again !

Ordered for the first time and have to say that I was very impressed with the food. Tandoori chicken had so much flavour and lamb was nice and tender. Delivery was also quick which was a bonus!

Have used Bengal Spice 3 times during lockdown as our treat. Absolutely fantastic food and delivery. Will be our goto restaurant from now on!

Tried this place before with my friend and I am obsessed ever since. I like the awesome atmosphere and flavorful dishes and drinks. 5 stars.

Been here to eat before and food is good but tonight (25/11/19) i ordered food for delivery and got told it was a 1 hr wait so collected itGot home and they had given me the wrong foodCalled them and got told correct food would be with me in 20 mins lol1 hr later food arrivesSo from first call to eating it was 2 hrs

Absolutely appalling. Food was half hour late, staff got aggressive with me over the phone when I asked where our food was, no apology when it did arrive. Food was then just spicy oil and the prawns were solid. Never again!

Love our local indian restaurant. Always very friendly and attentive. Will prepare dishes according to your taste too and help you choose a new dish if you fancy a change from your usual. Highly recommended.
