I loved this place ! The food is fantastic, very tasty. Careful if you have zero spicy tolerance as my girlfriend found it too hot 🌶️

This has been the best Indian restaurant I've tried. All we ordered was so good.

Although the food is very nice the waiter hustled us into things we didn't really want. Three tiny Pakoras as a starter which he very strongly suggested came in at just short of £15. They ask you to check the bill but It's about as decipherable as Egyptian Hieroglyphs are to the average man in the street. The £60 bill was rather more than I was expecting and at that price point next time I would go elsewhere.

Ended up here after our original restaurant let us down on Valentine's Day. We went fairly early, and it was pretty quiet, but the place was starting to pick up when we'd finished. We shared haggis pakora and lamb puri as starters, had the butter chicken, and the tandoori grill, which I thoroughly enjoyed for mains.Tried giving me the bill before I'd had a dessert! The Indian style doughnuts were fab!Overall, a nice meal we'd not planned. Certainly return here if we fancy an Indian in Edinburgh!

We tried this restaurant by chance as we walked past. The restaurant decor was minimal but adequate - no frills. We were greeted by staff who were pleasant and guided us to our table. Orders were taken in good time and food was delicious. The staff were good with the kids and were pleasant throughout. At this point we enjoyed our meal and would of given 5 stars. When we paid we were presented with the bill and quite quickly given the card machine without chance to check the receipt. Although thinking it was a little expensive, often is the case with Indian cuisine as everything is extra. We paid and we're asked to leave a gratuity. I questioned the bill and immediately the tone changed and became defensive. Staff rushed through the bill again and stated that I forgot about the drinks and once again presented with total amount. I tallied it up on my phone calculator despite further remarks pointing to the bill and appearing to distract me from calculating the bill. It was indeed overcharged and when I presented with the evidence was told that this was the service charge (which was not mentioned previously). This apparent deception and attempt to seek further gratuity without telling me that I already included a service charge resulted in a bitter taste and a char on what would have been an enjoyable meal. So chefs well done but the front staff let you down at the last hurdle and I don't like being deceived.

I ate here on Saturday night and really enjoyed everything I had. When it was time to pay, however, the server advised that the bill was £65.05 which seemed a lot for what the 2 of us had, but I assumed it must be correct and paid the bill. I have since checked the menu and found that our bill should have been £54.40. I would appreciate it if someone could explain why we were overcharged like this as I would have recommended this restaurant had it not been for this.

Just utterly incredible food. We decided to travel via Edinburgh just so we could pop in. My favourite Indian place in the UK. The food is very tasty with very strong flavours. Their garlic chilli dish is my favourite curry I've ever had

Really good food, meat tender, spices enough for us. Only thing was garlic nann not very thick and pilau more on the Chinese side of rice. Would recommend and come again. It is downstairs for anyone with mobility issues

Love love love this place! Went on one of last days in Edinburgh and was probably our favorite place in the city. 11/10. The people were super nice and funny. The vibes were sick. ♥️

Working nearby for a couple weeks so ordered the set meal for one tonight !The food was very good and lots of it, the meat in the lamb balti was excellent and so tender as was the chicken in the tikka. All of it very tasty and great value at £17...will definitely go for it again. It was also available 15 mins after I phoned to order it !
