Shamoli in Edinburgh

The service was prompt since at the time I went the restaurant was empty. In a craving for spicy food, I attempted to order the spiciest food they had-- I even gave assurances that I could handle it because I have an extreme tolerance-- but when the food came out it lacked any sense of heat. The flavor was alright, and the waiter did ask if I wanted the chef to remake it, but at that point I was simply hungry and didn't want to bother them with that. Not the best Thai food I've had.

We arrived in Edinburgh for a four day break! On the second night we decided to try the Shamoli and chose a Thai Fish. The meal was delicious and we would highly recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately as it’s on first floor I don’t think people are quite aware of it!

We came across this place by chance and I'm so glad we did, we ordered set menu for two and enjoyed everything we were served. Staff were friendly and attentive - great service from start to finish

had one of the worst experience on Christmas night. As most of the restaurant were closed we ordered via deliveroo - takeout. They accepted the order and I walked 10mins to get there. When I reached they told me they hadn't accepted the order and I have to cancel. I called deliveroo and they assured that the restaurant did accept the order that's why they charged me, otherwise it won't happen.I had to walk 10+10 mins to go there and came back empty handed on a cold Christmas night.Never again ordering or going there. Management should be serious when taking order.

Best Indian and Thai food I’ve ever had. The Peshwari Nan is a must!!! I just can’t believe how good this place is. Absolutely my favourite place in Edinburgh!!

Ordered take away from Uber, sent leftovers very small portion size and extremely bad service will never order again. Customer service horrible. Never recommended, there are way better and cheap Indian restaurant in Edinburgh

Very good yummy Indian food, friendly staff,Indian melody music played and food was served comparatively quickly. Bindi masala and Chicken Karahi are super yummy though the portion size can be bit more increased.

Dcenet soup and veg dishes. When the menu says spicy they really mean spicy.

Had a lovely week in edinburgh and couple of time i visited here for lunch and dinner, very good indian food in edinburgh compare to others like mother india and roti restaurent in royal mile . GREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE !!!!!
