The Shanaz Takeaway in Edinburgh

Usually very good food, but last order looked like somebody already eaten it.

Ordered a delivery from just eat on the 1st October, my meal was missing a main and a side, I phoned to let them know they forgot my items and if they could deliver them, to then be told the items were delivered and that I was lying, I was told I would not get a refund and that they did not have the time to deal with my issue. The food that did turn up was 50 mins late and cold, avoid at all costs!

A great curry , perfect heat and taste. Will be having more again from here

Delicious food, piping hot. Packed full of flavour and our favourite Indian in Edinburgh so far.

Got the chicken tikka vindaloo from here last night, was the cheapest Indian in the area so was a bit dubious but got to say, was absolutely amazing! Right heat, plenty of tasty chicken, piping hot, nice and thick.. Absolutely loved it no complaints at all.. The naan was OK as well, could have done with slightly more garlic on it but still enjoyed it.

Chicken korma is delicious. Tikka sauce too. Chips could be improved. Nan bread is good as are things like chicken pakora. The staff work hard and give good customer service

Best indian take away I've had in years.I've purchased from here 3 times, the food is consistently tasty and fresh, chicken never dry or chewy and naan never burnt!Got it delivered last time and it did take over an hour but they've offered me 10% off because of the wait next time, and the food was piping hot and tasty upon arrival.Only Indian takeaway I buy in Edinburgh.

We ordered a carry out this evening. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The portions were very generous. It's great to have such an excellent carry out so near to where we live. We will definately be ordering from Shanaz again soon.

Our family had a takeaway from Shanaz restaurant and were very impressed with quality and flavours of the food! Absolutely delicious, exciting and colourful. Definitely will try again and highly recommend to our friends.

Their food is always lovely, and tastes really bright and fresh. Loads of choices for vegetarians. I order a meal delivered around every 3 weeks, and they're always prompt and friendly, and the food is always hot. Their prices are reasonable, and the food is tastier - and less oily - than at most of the sit-in Indian restaurants in Edinburgh. Highly recommended!
