Toro Tapas Edinburgh in Edinburgh

Visited Toro Latino last night with friends. We all agreed this is the best steak ever and service was excellent. If you’re ever out in Edinburgh and fancy a great meal, I would recommend this restaurant.

Cozy and great atmosphere. The service was efficient and the waitress was nice. We ordered the toro Latino burger and was good as the dessert. Good music too for people that likes regaetton.The price was good too. I will recommend the place and hopefully return soon.

Food is very good but the service is very slow. They take the drink order promptly but we had to ask if anyone was taking the food order which then took over an hour before we had any food . Its a shame really because the food is lovely.

The burgers were filling, though they could have added some salad on the plate. Fried calamari so very tasty and soft to chew, sadly 5 rings of calamari on the plate do not justify their price. Garlic bread also very tasty and mouth-watering, but a few thin slices of a baguette isn't a good side dish. Desserts were very well made and presented. The staff were friendly but I didn't appreciate them coming to the table every 2' (by the clock) to ask us if we are ready to order. Felt so pressured to order, I didn't like it at all and was uncomfortable. Please give your guests time to choose from your catalogue especially if they are not familiar with the cuisine and need some extra time to read the ingredients and the composition of the dishes you offer. We know where you are and we can call for you when we are ready, the place is not big and we literally see you across the room watching.We had a nice time though, nice atmosphere and music.

Being a solo traveller is so much fun, so free, but one thing can be challenging... finding a restaurant that will allow you a table...especially at 7.30pm on a Saturday, without a booking!Thank you Toro Latino not only for giving me a table during a really busy night but making me feel welcome.The manager, hussen, was brilliant 👏

We had a really good experience here! We ordered the taster (3 steaks, sausage, sauces, chips and salad). Wow! The steaks are amazing!Good wines, pleasant service, And it's surprisingly cheap! Meat eaters paradise!👌🍖

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Me and my mate shared a Tomahawk steak for mains, it was cooked perfectly, well presented and we couldn't be happier.The entire party was super pleased with their meals and the bill wasn't bank breaking.Highly recommended you check this place out!

We had the steak sampler and it was cooked to absolute perfection. It came with a generous bowl of fries and we had some delicious Rioja Crianza to go with it. I had mentioned it was my husband's birthday and we were offered free desert which was such a sweet gesture. The staff were so friendly and nice. We just loved the atmosphere and the food is amazing! Can't wait to come back and try the burgers!

First visit here, friendly welcome from Mohammed and other staff. We enjoyed our Pinot wine, shared some bread a dip, then a sirloin steak came with salad and mushroom, I added skinny fries and brocolli, and a rump steak with melted stilton came with salad, added parmesan mash, finished off with coffees. All food was freshly made and very tasty, staff were luvly , enjoyed our visit :)

Fantastic restaurant, perfectly cooked steak. One of the best I've ever had. Great service and wine too.
