Great food and superb service.Had a delicious buffet lunch here today with a friend. She is vegan and enquired about what things contained dairy produce. The staff could not have been more responsive and attentive. The waiter immediately found out from the kitchen. One of the chefs then came out to reassure us on the contents of specific dishes. They even prepared separate rice and chapatis without ghee for my friend. She was impressed. The buffet was regularly topped up with fresh food so that food was not sitting there for hours. There was a good variety of dishes - all fresh and flavoursome. Extremely good value for money too. I thoroughly recommend Chutney’s.

Food was good, especially for the price paid(around the £9 mark for the buffet). I was a fan of the paneer curry. the paratha(very fluffy) and the array of salads given. The rice was slightly on the bland side for me, but there were many dishes to choose from so it was not an issue overall. One negative is that the restaurant is very small, and did feel quite cramped. But again, the value is good.

What a find! I was on my way to Euston Station and was really just searching for a quick and hot bite to eat. Chutney's Sunday vegetarian buffet was exactly what I was looking for! The buffet is rich and even though I got there half an hour before they normally shut it was all hot and fresh. The currys were lovely, a variety of salads and fruit for dessert are served and all that foe an affordable price of £9.95. And to make it even better, you can bring your own booze. Staff is also remarkably friendly! I'll definitely stop there the next I'll be in Euston!

Read on myLondon that the area around Drummond Street is called little india., So a friend and I had a spontaneous dinner here. He ended up choosing this restaurant. The waitress was lovely and really helpful, bless her it was only her working but she served all the guest and table . Kuddos to her. The food was good... Wish I was a bit more adventurous and ordered something else from tikka masala and panner. There was 3 large party when we had dinner and they were loud so talking and hear was a bit of annoyance but thats bit the restaurant fault.

The food was okay but the vibe is a bit grim. It was fine for trying it out once but I'll definitely not come back as there isn't anything that I can say I fully enjoyed to bring me back there. However, it boils down to your own food preferences.

Every item we ordered was so full of flavour. The best was the lamb starters and the chicken dosa.

I felt like the staff took advantage of the fact we are tourists, with our American accents.Separately, note that this restaurant is no longer a fully vegetarian restaurant. There are a variety of meat options on the menu as they have changed management three years ago.I don’t eat onion and garlic, not uncommon in Indian Jain food. The food came out pretty mediocre. It was fine. Nothing I would come back for at all. Especially not with this price tag. The food was expensive for what it is. Our bill ended up being £72 and then the server asked if we will add something extra for the chef, who had to create food fresh to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Again, this is actually quite common for Indians who are Jain. This was the first time ever I have been asked to leave a tip for the chef for just… doing his job? Are foods not usually cooked fresh nowadays? Are guests supposed to pay extra for chefs, cooking? After we added some extra tip for the chef, she asked if we are tourists from America. Yes, we are. Did you want us to tip even more because of that? We didn’t hear our server asking any other table for tip and where they’re from. Tipping isn’t the norm in europe like it is in the states. We couldn’t help but feel like they only asked us because they know we’re not from here.It really pisses me off how she asked for the tip. It wasn’t would you like to leave a tip for our service. It was legit to leave something for the chef for cooking us fresh food due to my dietary restrictions. She asked twice how we liked the food. The second time was when I was already out the door and outside of the restaurant. The food wasn’t good. I said it was fine both times. The fact she felt the need to ask me again when I’m already outside the restaurant at 10:15pm. She probably knew in her heart it wasn’t good yet she asked for us to tip for the food.Never coming back again. No thank you.Thank you… Next!

Excellent service and variety of vegan/veggie options. (tap water available when needed. They don't sell alcohol)Visited them twice in a row while around the area.Delicious lunch buffet costs 8 quid.Cosy and homey atmosphere compared to the buffet next door.
