Little Szechuan in Camden

Food is so bad if it was bad it would be good. The food was hard and no matter how many times you chew it it doesn’t break down. Revolting is an understatement. Will never touch this place again. It’s as if they took the food out of the bin AFTER 2 years and covered it with as much sauce as possible to disguise the fact of how revolting and inedible it is. They know exactly what they’re doing and who they’re trying to fool. Please stay away.

Come if you wanna be scolded by the staffs and eat food with no flavor‼️We literally just ask the staffs to add more spice and green-pepper flavor because there was no taste of spice, and they scolded us in the kitchen ( they thought we couldn’t hear or understand them). They said “it is how it tastes like” (clearly not i’m from sichuan) and we are “so annoying”. And when we asked for the rice, the waitress said :”now they want the rice!” and people in kitchen said annoyedly “why so freaking rush?” when we waited for 15 minutes already. The whole time we were eating most the staffs checked and stared at us angrily. Honestly don’t go, they are probably also talking sh1t about other customers, just that most people don’t speak chinese so they wouldn’t understand.

Always nice to have some mainland Chinese food (as opposed to the Hong Kong-influenced dishes we tend to think of as "Chinese" in the UK). Thoroughly tasty dishes that provide the unique kick of Sichuan pepper. It's a type of spicy that doesn't affect you immediately, rather it develops as you munch away, and takes you by surprise.I'd recommend ordering Sichuan dishes as these are the restaurant's specialties. In the same vein, there's no point in ordering generic stuff such as Singapore fried rice / spring rolls etc. You can get them anywhere. Also, be brave; the pig intestines are delicious!

Highly recommended Chinese food! I have been here multiple times, and there are so many choices so you can order anything you wish. Fresh and delicious!!

Highly recommended. Fresh, affordable, and authentic with some great variation on the menu.The risk with a lot of fast food places like this is over salted and oily food, but this wasn’t the case at all. Clearly fresh and handmade, all well balanced cooking.

A great little place for Sichuan food that is quite authentic with generous portion of food. The taste was not a letdown too.

It used to be one of my favourite Sichuan restaurant but I feel the quality has decreased in my recent visit (or may be I didn’t order ‘Sichuan enough’ dishes this time

This is a lovely quirky northern Chinese Sichuan restaurant. It is a very small and cosy restaurant so book ahead if you are coming from afar. It is set on the main Finchley road in Swiss cottage.The food is incredibly tasty and decent portions. Try the Sichuan fish in spicy oil or the cold mouth watering chicken for something authentic.

Fantastic food. Extensive menu. Super quick to bring food to the table. Loved everyone of the 9 dishes we ordered. The beef with black beans and the short ribs with garlic were the best by far. The fried prawns were excellent as well. This is a new favorite. We'll be back!
