Walked by looking for a sit down dinner, gave this place a try - excellent experience. The food was so good - fresh and well prepared. Attentive service with warm smiles and very clean environment. Would go back again and again.

Very welcoming, great food.Looking for an early evening meal, had read good things about the Spice, found they had a cash only deal for starters, main +rice + bread for £11.95 so found great value for money for a filling and tasty meal with a £5 pint of cold Cobra.Service was most friendly without being over the top. I recommend wholeheartedly and will return whenever I am near this part of London.

As a local I have been coming here for 2 years and everytime we are greeted with a smile. The food is exquisite and very reasonably priced. The family who run the business are extremely kind, attentive and hospitable. I hope they receive all the credit they deserve because the restaurant is indeed a local treasure

Incredible curry house been here a few time with great specials. 12.99 for starter, main, rice & side dish (naan, chapati, paratha etc). Great range of curries to choose from and staff were super friendly, probably the best service I've had since being here in London.

Just got back from here after someone told me to try it , well what can I say . Firstly it was empty when I arrived but the service was friendly . After ten minutes or so people started to arrive. Iv lived in Islington all my life and have tried most of the curry houses in the area but this one was definitely the best , value for money 👍excellent service 👍 friendly staff 👍 I would say if your in the area and fancy a curry then this is the place to go !!! 5* service

It's not often that I write a review online, but after my experience here at The Spice, I felt Ahmed and his family thoroughly deserve a good write up! Fantastically priced and tasty food, served by an awesomely attentive family. This was our third visit and we were as happy and satisfied as the first time we came. We are regulars now. Well worth a visit for anyone in the local area.
